- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session is an assessment where I test the clients fitness level and go over goals. From there I will be able to create a workout suited for the clients goals and fitness level.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ACE certified personal trainer, with specializations in sports nutrition and sports conditioning. I also hold a bachelors degree in Public Health with a minor is nutrition. I am also currently in a masters program for sports psychology and will be sitting for the certified strength coach specialist test in September.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had been involved in sports throughout school but had never worked out. After high school I wasn't playing sports anymore but still wanted to be active so I started working out. However it wasn't until a year into lifting that I discovered how much fun lifting could be, when I started to actually use the barbells.
