- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After your inquiry is received, our receptionist will reach out to you for more information. They will also inform you of prices & availability. After that, a general intake form is sent over via email to gather more information about you, your dog, and what services you are looking for. Once the form is completed and submitted, a consultation is scheduled. A training consultation is an in-home visit where Royah will ask questions, interact with your dog, and create a plan on how she can help. From there, we’ll be able to decide how many lessons we’ll need and move into training.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education-wise, I learned hands-on. I haven’t gone to any training school or received any form of document. I’ve learned from breaking my teeth over the years. I’ve shadowed trainers, learned on my own, & honestly can outrun & keep up with accredited trainers. For me, a piece of paper does not define what I know. I am not anti school, I do plan on getting some kind of accrediation when I have the time to do so.
