- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly training and staying abreast of some new technologies with regards to web, client hardware, graphics and application technologies.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After a number of life changing events (Grad School), opportunities (HPD internship), and circumstances (job at West Harlem Group Assistance), I changed my career and became an IT Technician; by taking classes at Mid-Manhattan Adult Learning Center, New horizons, and Technology Institute of America.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We repair broken laptop LCD screens, bad hard drives, laptops that wont power on (DC jack repair) cracked laptops, virus infected computers, rebuild older desktop computers, upgrade laptops/desktops (more memory, bigger hard drive, new Operating System), break fix repairs for all models of Dell, HP, Toshiba, Lenovo computers; secure and lock down computers. We also setup wireless networking, printing and service small business needs; including web development, hardware support, graphic design & database applications.
