Does not deliver. We had a very bad case of sibling rivalry between out two female dogs. After 4 months of Doing Rachel's methods our dogs were no better. We did everything she told us to do and worked diligently everyday with them. The last time she saw us the girls were still going at each other. She said she was going to look some things up and call us to make another appointment. We never heard from her again. We had to rehome one of the dogs. If you have a severe problem, find someone more qualified.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Be sure the trainer you hire is a Certified Professional Trainer. Ask your veterinarian for a referral. Your trainer should discuss your dog's behavioral issues with you and give you a realistic expectation of the probability of success. Remember that the trainer does not train your dog - the trainer teaches YOU to train your dog!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Your dog doesn't understand your language! Dogs are a different species than us and are not born understanding English, or any other human language for that matter. Your trainer should help translate your dog's body language for you so that you can communicate better with your dog.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Have you ever trained the breed of dog that I have?
What is your experience working with dogs that have this problem?
How long should it take to get the problem under control?
How much work will it be for me and my family?
