I was blown away by Chef Ryan's culinary talent and the professionalism of his team. Not only was the food more delicious than the photos and descriptions convey, but there is also no dish he cannot create. Let your imagination run wild! Your wish is truly Chef Ryan's command. We had to plan a complicated dinner- party with many specific requests and constant tweaks and changes to the menu. Chef Ryan was always immediately responsive via e-mail, phone, and text. He accommodated every need, no matter how large or small. Ask Chef Ryan provides a holistic culinary experience, not just fantastic cooking. He was interactive, teaching us all so much about food, the process of cooking, and the elements of a great meal. He delighted my guests to a point where we didn't want him to return to the kitchen! Asking Chef Ryan + his wife Jackie to help us celebrate our anniversary with an at-home dinner was the best idea we made in a long time! They hit it out of the park the entire way! Chef Ryan was very open to catering to us, especially because I'm able to eat gluten or dairy. Despite those limitations, the meal was perfect. So many layers to every dish + everything was so full of spices + flavor. Chef Ryan + Jackie were so sweet + helpful the entire way! We loved their services + guarantee you will too! PS: He's also very responsive via email so it was nice to have someone who helped answer any questions :)

My wife and I had Chef Ryan and his wife Jackie cook up the perfect Anniversary dinner for us and my oh my was it the MAGICAL. They took care of every single detail and Chef Ryan really did such an amazing job with recreating our best dishes from previous anniversary trips to Croatia and Spain - he not only recreated those dishes but they were absolutely delicious. There was also so much food that we had enough leftovers for others to try as well. If you're looking for a magical evening with a warm and loving couple to cook you up the perfect full course meal look no further than Chef Ryan. Thanks, Beeni and Vijay

I cannot say enough about our experience with Chef Ryan! I planned a surprise BBQ for my husbands birthday with a few friends on our deck & my expectations were exceeded beyond belief. The table scape Jackie made was beautiful. The food was absolutely out of this world. We were stuffed well before dessert (although we did find room for it), all of our guests went home with leftovers, and our fridge was STILL full of food. Everything was full of flavor, was hot, and was so unique. Our 3 year old called him a magician & he truly is in the kitchen! Chef Ryan also completely surprised us by making fresh pasta for our kids! He left our kitchen cleaner than it was when he arrived. He is professional & quickly responds to emails & is very accommodating. Chef Ryan & Jackie are a spectacular team. Would absolutely love to have them come again.

My wife and I had never hired a Chef before, and we had an upcoming Birthday celebration coming up. We decided that we wanted a 20 person or so, intimate backyard event. With the Birthday only two weeks out, Chef Ryan was fortunately available and we reached out to him through Thumbtack. Chef was prompt with his replies, and answered every question thoroughly. IE menu options, table decorating options, dessert options. We were spoiled from the first call. Chef and his team promptly arrived one hour before the event and immediately got to work. His staff decorated the tables beautifully! We didn't even need the string lights the tent company had hooked up for us because the votive candles Chef's team laid out on the tables were perfect. For over an hour there were 5 different types of passed hors d'oeuvres, but the Arincini balls were my favorite for sure. Tuna tartare, empanadas and the others were delicious! Once we all took our seats, Chef brought out a Mushroom Angolotti with White Asparagus in a cream sauce recipe that I will shake him down for as it was amazing! For dinner, chef prepared a Surf and Turf, but instead of Lobster it was a flavorful Chilean Sea Bass accompanying the Filet Mignon that melted in your mouth. My guests were all blown away. I could tell by looking at their faces as they ate and that made my Wife and I so happy. (we are foodies so good food makes us smile). For Dessert, a delectable sort of berries in a Panicotta cream that was ..... I can't describe it you just have to try it. Seriously. When our guests left and we came back in to the house, our kitchen was cleaner after Chef and his staff left than what it was before he got there!!! If your looking to throw a party and want to entertain while being spoiled and not having to do a thing, call Chef Ryan. Our guests could not say enough good things about him, and we will for sure be using Chef Ryan again. ( I think the next event will be on a Football Sunday and Chef has agreed to make his wings and his Philly Cheese Steaks). Can't wait.........

    Included in out Pricing is Custom Menu 4 Course Plated Menu Amuse, App, Main Course, and Dessert. All Cookware, Plate ware, Flat Ware, Linens, and Table Decor. Cost 2 People $350 plus the cost of Food 4 People $400 Plus the Cost of Food 6 People $500 plus the cost of Food 8 People $650 plus the cost of Food 10 People $750 plus the cost of Food The cost of food Ranges based on the meal that we have agreed on. Anything above is subject to change based what the experience that the event will Entail.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    The process is for the client and us to have a conversation over the phone to get all the particulars sorted out and a menu laid out. We do not have standardized menu's. We curate a custom menu based what the clients request and taste.

    20 Years experience in the professional Kitchens/ 10 years in NYC as a Chef Johnson & Wales University Graduate
