Molding or baseboards,
Jim did an incredible job in my elderly parent's home. He installed new hand rails on a stair case and everyone who visits has complimented the work he did. He also installed grab rails in their shower, repaired some kitchen cabinets & drawers, and installed a new exhaust fan. Jim impressed everyone in the family with his professionalism, thoroughness, and high quality of his work. (And my mother is tough to impress). I would highly recommend him.Jul 23, 2019Verified
Jim recently removed a load bearing wall in our living room and redid our kitchen floor. He kept us informed and updated at all times and did an amazing job overall. Will definitely use again for future home improvements!May 30, 2019Verified

I have had bad luck with contractors in the past, but thank God for Jim Synder from C&S. Jim was very professional and hard working. All of the work was performed by himself. Jim turned my deck project in my backyard from a failing safety hazard to a work of beauty. Since hiring Jim I have recommended his work to many of my family and friends and even trusted him to watch my dog while on on vacation. Jim is worth every dollar.Aug 16, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I use a basic hourly rate plus materials for most projects. My time starts from when I leave my home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Once communication is established, I try to find out as much information as possible about the project prior to starting work, or going to the clients home for an estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've worked on homes since I was 10 years old and have extensive knowledge and understanding of the many different styles of construction over the last 200 years. I love old homes and the hand-craftsman ship, as well as modern homes and understanding the techniques employed by today's craftsman.
