Introduction: It is important for me to be honest with my clients and let them know I am listening to all their needs. I am punctual and comprehend that events such as birthdays, weddings, and etc are important. What I like the most about my job is making sure my client(s) are happy. Hi I recently got married in NYC, and hired Giselle Ibarra for make up services for me (the bride) and 9 other friends. She did a wonderful job, air brush make up , eye lashes, and all under a very reasonable price. She was on time for appointments and very enthusiastic about the services she was providing. Her make up was flawless, so much so that I cried thru out my ceremony and the make was still on, just as beautiful as when she applied it a few hours before. I would definitely recommend and hire Giselle ibarra again for any upcoming social gatherings.

I have used Giselle for all special occasions to do my makeup. She is very good at obtaining the look I am interested in having for the event and doing it with ease. Giselle is extremely friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. She has the ability to feel you out and understand what you are looking to have her do. I also am very confident in her to take her expertise and run with it. I would recommend highly to anyone who wants to look beautiful and feel confident for a special day or night out.

Giselle was GREAT!!!! I found her on craigslist after speaking to 6 other make up artists...I am glad i went with my gut. She made me look like a princess...my husband was floored when he saw me. He couldnt believe i can look so natural yet made up. She made me and my bridesmaids feel comfortable and she made me feel like she was here to help me with anything i needed. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard price is $65.00 per person. a trial appointment price is $50.00. If there is a party of over 5 people I offer a discount of $5.00. All events or collaborations include lashes if requested and I am willing to travel within a 5 mile radius.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If your event is a wedding and you are the bride I normally like to set a trial appointment, this way we are able to confirm a look, along with any other logistic involved in the event. As for any other events I like to discuss over phone or email any ideas and details that are important so I am well prepared the events or collaborations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received a license from Empire Beauty School in NYC. I have attended plenty beauty events to stay up to date on looks, products and techniques.
