FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since we are new to thumbtack and need to bump up our review section...We are offering $100 rebate off of our DJ performance fee in exchange for an honest review! All bookings require a $200 deposit in order for us to hold your date in our calendar. After the wedding, this deposit is then deducted from the performance fee. Ex: If your performance fee is $600 and you paid your $200 deposit to secure your date, after the wedding you will only have $400 due of the original $600 performance fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally I would like to treat you to a cup of coffee in a public cafe, where we can discuss your event, our contract, and any questions or concerns you may have. Once you have decided to book us, all we need is a valid email address and we will send an invoice for the deposit right away. (the deposit invoice can also be sent before our meeting if you are eager to secure your date) From there I would send you a copy of our Wedding Reception worksheet, which helps us plan out all the details of the Audio experience of your wedding reception including, schedule, first dance, party games, announcements etc.. This helps us ensure every second of your reception is perfect. From here until the day of the wedding you can contact us anytime with any questions, ideas, or concerns. The day of the wedding I show up about an hour before the festivities are planned to begin in order to get set up and make sure everything is working properly (you are not charged for set up and take down times) Your final performance fee is also due this day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained in DJing, Music Production, and technology at the esteemed Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts. The #2 Music school in the United States.
