Happy to post a review about My Key 24 Hour Locksmith!! I needed someone to help me with two broken locks to my back door—and with the door to the house completely unsecured, I needed help quickly. I used thumbtack, and contacted about 6 locksmiths—several answered, but Mike and My Key 24 Hour Locksmith was the clear choice. First off, He was very responsive and arrived quickly—and even though my needs were a little complicated, Mike was able to help figure out the best and most cost efficient direction for us to go. Second, he was very professional—he asked for pictures, discussed and explained the job in detail, and what he quoted me, was what I paid. And payment was easy with his square reader—I know it sounds crazy, but not every skilled tradesman uses one!!! And lastly, he went above and beyond to make other small repairs needed to the door and door jam so that the two new locks he installed would not be broken again in no time. Mike even helped fix an issue with my front door on his way out!! I’ve added his info to my phone—don’t want to have to go far to find it when I need him again or need to recommend him to assist family or friends.

Their rates are expensive and we ended paying $860 to install one lock and that was after an unpleasant negotiation! The game of good guy / bad guy team is really unnecessary. Work was done adequately. and they spent less than 30 mn to do the work.
