Emily was amazing she made it to our office early. She then walked around the office with me to ensure we had perfect natural lighting and everyone was comfortable with the backdrop. I 100% recommend Emily for your photography needs!Sep 4, 2018VerifiedEmily Frances's reply
Thank you for an awesome review! The beautiful LA sunshine helped!
Emily took our elopement photos at Manhattan City Hall, and she was awesome. We had decided on getting a photographer last-minute, and I'm so happy we found her. She's so laidback! She didn't rush us at all, even though the queue at City Hall was ridiculous - in fact, we were the ones rushing (to eat), and that's probably the only regret I have about this whole thing (should have gotten more photos!). But we had skipped breakfast to get in line, and we were starving. Our photos turned out exactly how we wanted - natural, modern, with clean lines, but still romantic. Highly recommend!Nov 21, 2016Verified
She was exceptionally easy to work with. It felt like there wasn't a 12 hour time difference between us. She was very prompt with her replies, she was able to grasp what we need and the images came out better than expected. Her photography for our client was very beautiful. She really knows how to play with natural lighting, making the photos seem so surreal and timeless. I really enjoyed working with her and I will definitely use her service again. Emily was such a pleasure to work with and she produced amazing photos! First, she was extremely accommodating as I had a tight schedule and deadline. She went out of her way to schedule the shoot early in the morning, and furthermore she edited many of the photos for me that day so that I could submit them that afternoon. Secondly, the photos themselves are lovely. She picked a beautiful setting and has an art in naturally staging the photographs and taking advantage of natural light. I could not have been happier with my experience! Thank you!Oct 25, 2016Verified
Wedding and Event Photography
Working with Emily was fantastic. She responded quickly to our email enquiry and had the brief sorted in no-time. She was bang on time arriving at our hotel and then suggested walking with us to our wedding venue, taking pictures along the way. She took a fabulous mix of posed and candid shots which make fabulous photojournalism in their own right, let alone amazing wedding memories. We grabbed a taxi and Emily captured the everyday scenes plus some amazing shots in the cab. She was a thorough professional, but by the end of the session, we had made a new friend. It was fun and easy working with Emily who put us at ease and is a lovely, sensitive person to boot! The quality of her work is exceptional. We had pictures on the same day with more following shortly after. Everyone we have shown our pictures to has asked how we got them. They have commented on how relaxed and natural everything appears. Emily gave us everything we wanted from our wedding photos and so much more. Absolutely fabulous!Jan 6, 2020Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? All my photography packages whether corporate, editorial or family, start at $350 which include up to 1.5 hours of shooting time, and 150+ fully edited images returned within 3 days. Depending on the day and the client's flexibility, I may be able to work within a smaller price range. Add ons can include, additional hours, specific editing requests or second photographers if you are having a large event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My typical process for taking on a new client is as follows: - Have a ~10 minute phone consultation to discuss what you are looking for - I follow up by email with a proposal for the location, cost and timeline of the photoshoot as well as any other questions I may need you to answer -If you accept the proposal, I send you a contract and request a 50% deposit. The signed contract and deposit are due within 5 days. -A week prior to our shoot, I confirm all of our details. -You receive your fully edited images typically within 3 days of the shoot unless otherwise discussed. At this point the remainder of payment is due, and you have access to download the images.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I received my Bachelors of Science in photography from Drexel University in 2012. I have had the opportunity to study under some of the best photojournalists and have learned not only the technical skills it takes to be a photographer, but also the creative drive it takes to create one of a kind images.
