Fantastic dance instructor. Professional, fun and punctual. He helped us orchestrate a beautiful first dance for our wedding that all our guests are still raving about. Highly recommend! Thanks Daruisz!
Arati is a great teacher. Alot of people who come in have absolutely no experience at all, but she is patient with them and works personally with each person there. Definitely worth the time and effort, plus you get a workout while learning to dance.
Irina is a fantastic dance instructor! She helped prepare my fiancé and I for our first dance at our wedding and we were very pleased with the choreography and outcome. She is very patient and makes sure to teach you the best choreography suitable for your song, skill level, and timing. She made sure we understood the steps and made herself available for last minute schedule changes. We enjoyed going to her classes and her company! We would definitely recommend her as a dance instructor!! Thank you Irina!! :)
Awesome person and great dance instructor. She is very knowledgeable in her field of west coast swing. I wish I could give her more stars.
Paulina is an extremely well rounded dancer. She can slow down her body to near impossible speeds and quickly transition into fast paced explosive hip hop combos. She has an adept eye for control and textures in dance which is key to make any dance stand out. She is super friendly and intuitive to quickly assess your needs and problems. Although she is an advanced dancer, she still has a perfect sense of fundamentals which is ideal for a dancer who didn't properly learn their rudiments. Her personal training background allows her to not only to teach dance appropriately, but also helps in letting you know what muscle groups are needed for certain dances. All in all I would recommend Paulina to ANYONE ranging from a beginner to an expert to just someone who wants to learn a certain dance. I've learned more from her in one class that I've learned in a whole week of group dance classes. If you want to start or further your dance skills, Paulina is the one for you!
Steph was phenomenal. I've been in the movement/fitness world for years and she was able to put me through training that I've never encountered before AND was a ton of fun. It was intense, new, introspective, creative, and playful. I can't emphasize enough the play component. It wasn't about moving/working out only because it's good for you but because it can be fun to play! The entire time, Steph was encouraging, adapting to my unique needs, explaining the reason behind each thing we did, and keeping it fun, even when it was hard. You'll feel alive in your body from working with Steph.
I have worked with Genna for a number of years. I am going on 73 y.o. and have had experience with a lot of P.T.coaches. Genna is very knowledgable in her field. She has a real passion for helping others and is able to communicate this knowledge and passion to people who are seeking the best in physical training and fitness.
I have been working with Zainab for a few years now, starting out in a studio and now she comes to my place. While I don't have a gym and we work out in my living room, I truly feel that we get the cardio in as well as strength training. She has shown me you really don't need a gym to get a great workout. A TRX, a mat, some bands and a bit of running around the block. Zainab has done a lot of research into physical as well as mental fitness and imparts this knowledge. She is completely respectful of the level of connection you want to make with your trainer. I have been so grateful to her in guising me along my path to both a healthier lifestyle, physically and mentally.
Tiana has trained me for a year now. From yoga, to balance to strength training. My core, new "work in progress" body and muscles and definition are very thankful! Give her a call or send her an email, you wont be disappointed.
Whether you are looking for a date night, time with friends or to make new friends, this is the place to go. The energy in the studio is great and the people are amazing. Whatever your level, there is a ballroom or fitness class for you. Do something for yourself and go - you won't regret it.
I've known Tamara Belin for about 5 years now. First as a instructor and then became good friends. Tamara is a loving and caring person, and a wonderful artist. Tamara has been my instructor for quite some time now, I have seen her business grow "The Private Spot". I have to say that I love going to the "The Private Spot", its exactly what the name gives off. She gives you the one on one attention and training that you need so that one can grow as a person and also as a pole dancer/artist. Since she is also a personal trainer she even helps with fitness goals and your own personal goals. She has opened my mind and has made me realize how strong I truly am. She also has blessed me with many opportunities. I highly recommend anyone who wants to take a pole class to take a lesson with Tamara, in a calm personal setting. Tamara is definitely a definition of if you have a goal then achieve it.
Steven T. Williams began dancing at the age of 9 when an organization decided to take children attending inner city schools and give them a sense of direction, taking them off the street and into a dance studio. The program consisted training in modern, jazz, tap, ballet, ballroom, hip hop, voice, and more. They are called the National Dance Institute (NDI) founded by Jacques d'Amboise of the New York City Ballet. His love for the arts continued to grow as he not only continued his education at NDI, but also attended the theatre department of LaGuardia H.S. for the Performing Arts. He went on to graduate from S.U.N.Y. New Paltz with a B.A. in both technical and performance theatre, as well as a half a year of post graduate work at the acclaimed Moscow Art Theater. Performing has always been at the forefront of Steven's life. He has had the opportunity to work alongside many actors, artists, choreographers, and dancers alike, all of whom have inspired him and the lives of others. Some of his credits include projects for Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Nelly Furtado, Jamie-Lynn, and many others. He has done commercials for Pepsi (Vanilla) and iPod, and was in the off-Broadway production of The Harlequin Studies, starring Bill Irwin. He recently came off tour with Cirque Du Soleil's production of Banana Shpeel. Steven's passion for expression will endure through all trials of life, which he hopes to express within his own art. He considers a classroom full of students as a canvas, and a teacher as its painter. Seize every moment. Continue to love! Never regret; always accept! Enjoy what you have when you have it because you may just lose it. Agape - Aheb
