I have done private yoga sessions with Erica Straub, and love them. I've always been active and an athlete (and recently done a lot of dance). I find it hard to find teachers that impress me for any activity -- not intentional, but I am a tough critic. That said, Erica is amazing. My yoga sessions with her were some of my favorites ever. I loved her focus on the hips (even more so than other yoga classes), the athleticism required throughout, and her approach. (Not to mention, good music selection too!). She started with poses that weren't traditional lead-ins for a yoga session, and it helped open my body up literally and figuratively. Each time I did a session with her, I felt 100% better than when I started and had lasting benefits on my flexible, strength and state of mind. I highly recommend her!
Judy is a true professional in every sense of the word. She has a ton of expertise in physical fitness and training, and is always able to answer my questions completely and clearly. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but she's also is a wonderfully friendly, kind, and encouraging trainer. I appreciate that she guides me through the session using clear, precise language while maintaining a supportive and positive vibe. She thoughtfully custom-tailors and plans my workouts in order to help me meet my stated goals, and at the same time she is flexible, as she is both capable and willing to alter the workout “off-the-cuff” as need be if I arrive at a session with a particular ache, pain, or limitation. I have made so much progress under her guidance and have become more confident to work out independently since starting training with her. I would highly recommend Judy to any of my friends or family members seeking a trainer!
Maria-Stefania is one of the best Yoga instructors I have ever encountered in my years practicing. I dont usually write reviews for people, but she honestly deserves it. She knows how to correct your alignment when youre doing a pose incorrectly, always has a smile on her face and I learned so much in the classes she has taught. Stephanie is an excellent experienced teacher and a kind compassionate warm lovely person. She asks what is going on with us and gears the class to exactly what we need. It’s a great stress buster in the middle of the workday. We thoroughly enjoy our yoga classes with Stephanie. We feel so much better afterwards.

Ellie was one of the first yoga teachers I ever had. While being a student of Ellie's, I went from a true yoga novice to someone who learned to feel more comfortable in her body. Ellie's classes always left me feeling rejuvenated, confident, and serene. I would often enter class with a racing mind and tired body. By the time class was over, I observed a noticeable difference in my emotional and physical well-being. The yoga and meditation techniques I learned from Ellie have become part of my daily life. I take 2-3 yoga classes/sessions with Anne a week and she is an awesome yoga teacher. Her sessions are refreshingly diverse and challenging, and my body has tremendously benefitted from practicing with her. Her knowledge of anatomy, poses and skills exceeds any other yoga teacher I have had before. I would highly recommend anyone considering learning yoga to take a class/lesson with her.
I've taken several yoga classes with Kyle and what I love most about her teaching style is her versatility and language. Her classes cater to newbies and the more experienced alike. Her language is grounded and I always know exactly where my body needs to move next. Her instruction is guiding, not preachy or commanding, resulting in a group experience where each individual is free to immerse in a personal reflection. Being new to yoga, I was looking for the right yoga instructor who could help me reach peaceful sustainability, teach me health maintenance, advanced meditation techniques as well as teach me the basic yoga exercises/movements. A wealth of knowledge and training along with the personal attention to my ability, past medical history and future goals is very important to me. I attended several classes at my local gym an was not at all impressed with the instructors, class size, atmosphere and lack of education on the yoga principals/history. I came across Brian on Thumbtack while looking into private instructors in my area. I was immediately impressed with his training in yoga, physical fitness and nutrition. His certifications surpassed all other trainers in the area. So I decided to give him a try. I have had several private and group sessions to date and will enthusiastically continue to practice with Brian. Upon arrival I notice that his studio was pristine and welcoming. His use of aromatherapy as well as herbal teas creates a wonderful scent and a feeling of calm. Brian provided me with a private session to get to know me as a person, my health history, my future goals and introduced me to him and the history and variations of yoga practice. This was a wonderful session and he has since tailored my on-going personal an group sessions based on the information he obtained. Brian's classes are small and personal. Brian: - speaks clearly and his instruction is well-timed with the music and movements -the music is played at a safe speed and is appropriate for the group and atmosphere -Brian exhibits strong movements and posture and demonstrates them properly to the group and offers alternatives for newcomers -all movements are safe and he offers adequate safety tips - motivation and interaction: Brian is incredibly motivated and makes eye contact with participants as well as assist with poses - has an energetic an peaceful environment - Brian's classes have all the expected components; including an adequate warm-up, cool-down and stretch. Meditation is a big part of the classes and personal sessions. I always start and end up feeling completely relaxed and at peace I highly recommend Brian to novice-advanced yoga students. Sarah has in-depth knowledge of physical therapeutic exercises. Being a teacher, I am always on my feet, using my voice, stressed out, etc. and she helps to target all of these issues while simultaneously giving me a full body efficient workout. Each lesson is customized to my mood and how I am feeling that day but often a lot of repetitive movements to track my progress. We do a combo of strength building and stretching as she incorporates both Yoga and Pilates principles. I am often very busy and having the convenience of Sarah coming to my home makes my life that much easier. Sarah is a great yoga instructor and I am stronger physically and mentally because of these private lessons, I thank her.

I have been suffering with lower back pain and sciatica for over a year. I began to see Stephanie Harding for Vinni yoga which was personalized and designed to help my specific area of injury. Stephanie is a caring and dedicated yoga therapist who helps throughout the session to be sure I gain maximum benefit. She also prepared drawings of the postures and exercises for my home program and made an audio CD which was extremely helpful. After about 6 months I was pain free most of the time.I truly appreciate what Stephanie has done for my health and well being.
I have known Phil for over two years. We did yoga training together, and I have also taken many of his classes. He is a very patient, attentive and encouraging teacher, and I know he is very popular with his students. He is particularly skilled at modifying and personalizing his one-on-one classes, and I would recommend him to anyone who is experiencing an injury, or who has specific needs.
I had a reiki session and it was awesome. My shoulder and back felt much better and I was truly relaxed afterwards.
For me, yoga is not just about the workout but also about the spiritual part of it so it was very important to me to find a teacher that could balance both and Sara exceeded my expectations. She has the purest energy and good vibes but also knows how to kick your butt! I leave her class feeling like I really worked out and also feeling incredibly grounded and content.
