- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communicating through phone and/or email initially. Setting up a date that works for both of us and enables us to meet in person so I can assess the client's skin, prior makeup looks, vision of what she would like to have done, and the actual makeup consultation prior to the day of the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified Professional Makeup Artist in Makeup Application and Airbrush Makeup from Austin's School of Spa Technology in Albany, NY. Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Basic Artistry Certified. Completion of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Basic School training, Winter 2016 Seasonal School Training, and Summer 2016 Seasonal School Training.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Brittney was born and raised in Upstate NY where she originally received a Bachelors Degree in Communications. Brittney also attended Schenectady Community College (SCC) and received a certificate through the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) in Event Management and Wedding Planning. The enthusiasm Brittney discovered she had for conceptualizing ideas while doing event design only motivated Brittney more to become a makeup artist. In the persistence to follow her dreams, Brittney attended Austins School of Spa Technology in Albany, NY; where she received a Certification in Makeup Artistry. Brittney has been a Certified Professional Freelance Makeup Artist since 2014.
