About this pro
I met Maggie on my birthday in 2017 and have been working with her ever since. We work together room by room and she has transformed my apartment into a beautiful experience. I love coming home every evening and can’t wait to get home to enjoy it now. Maggie is creative and knows how to work with people on a budget. She searched far and wide for the right accessories and creatively repurposed the things I already owned. We are just finishing our work together but I wish I had even more rooms to style so I can keep working with her!! I recommend her highly and you will be thrilled to have her work with you too! I can only rate this service as 5 star! From the beginning Maggie was as excited as I was. We agreed on a price and within minutes she was on the job... sending photos and ideas. Communication electric fast between us. I thought a month would do it! But I could move in in less than half of that She got me, my style right away. I can not wait to get home to my very unique, retro and oh so comfortable digs. Maggie thank you for making many lively and amusing days. Yet so professional!Feb 21, 2017Verified
I am very lucky to have found Maggie from Refresh Design. I knew from our first meeting that our work together was going to be fun, exciting and inspiring. This is an ongoing project in which Maggie continues to surprise me with her creativity, her ability to listen to my own ideas and her never ending positive energy. She stays in close contact with her clients through a Pinterest board, text, email and phone. Additionally, never miss an opportunity to join Maggie on one of her many shopping excursions she goes on for her clients. She is really good at finding hidden treasures in the most unlikely of places. AND it is in those unlikely places that she truly shines.Dec 8, 2016Verified
Maggie listened, and understood right away what I needed, prepared a plan and bid, and got to work. She hung our artwork herself ! She found some furniture we needed in consignment shops, and had chairs reupholstered by her vendor in a week! She reorganized furniture in a few rooms, making them more functional and attractive. She is creative and flexible and well-organized.Sep 8, 2016Verified
Maggie has been working with me for the past two months on decorating and organizing our apartment. We have a very limited space and budget, but Maggie has come up with a plan on how to stay in budget and also some suggestions on multi-functioning furniture. She checks up on the progress on constant bases, and uses pintrest to see what is my taste. She has a very upbeat personality, and I appreciate her hands on approach. Since her involvement in this project, we have eliminated a lot of our moving boxes. My home is finally turning into "MY HOME." Thanks Maggie.Sep 5, 2016Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First, I need to see the project. I like to get an idea of what the client wants and needs. After I get a feel of the style or period that the client would like to create, I get to work! Scouring and searching just to find the right furniture, art, and accessories to make the client's ideas a reality.
- What types of customers have you worked with?My clients range from a young family making room in their apartment for a new baby to simply updating a room to incorporate current design elements.....I have done redesigns for Kitchens, Dining Rooms, Living Rooms, Family Rooms, Master Suites, Bathrooms, Closets, and Guest Rooms...
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?I recently worked with a client who needed to redesign a master bedroom, including a walk in closet and a master bathroom. The house was originally a single family home. However, the previous owners had converted it into a three family residence and we now had to convert it back. My client had never had a walk in closet before. The bedroom came out beautiful and the closet and wall of shoes is her favorite part! The entire process took about 2 months....
