Introduction: I edit, crop and touch up every single one of my photographs. I also shoot in black and white as well as color. I provide the customer with a free online gallery with a password so you can email this link to friends and family. From their they have the ability to buy prints and also choose from variety of photo-related products. I like that I am my own boss and I can call the shots. I have a great family and I can spend most of my time with them so I can make sure the kids are supervised and having fun and that my wife is safe and happy!

The talented work of Joshua Morrell is truly very impressive. He has a style that is so realistic! It is so nice to see someone who can really "catch" the moment and make it look so real in a photograph. I was so used to seeing posed wedding photographs - it was such a joy to see what Joshua can do to bring those pictures alive! He starts with just being a good photographer and then adds to it by being able to edit and crop his work creating true works of art! As a photographers son, I would highly recommend Joshua to anyone looking for top quality photography! Although I have not had any formal training in photography - I come from a long line of professional photographers in my family. My Great grandfather was a pioneer in this field. My Father has owned several photography studios and it a past president of the Professional Photographers Association of NY. My Uncle worked with Harper's Bazaar and CBS. So by growing up surrounded by photography - I know a good shot from a bad one!

Joshua photographed my rugby team playing at a national tournament a few years ago. I couldn't be happier with the images he captured....action and still shots. I don't play much anymore so these photos are quite cherished memories. Joshua has a knack for catching space and time. You should check out his nature/landscape shots as well. He really catches uplifting moments, somber thoughts, open expressions and poignant perspective as well. Highest recommendation.

Joshua shot our wedding photos last July and did a phenomenal job. He was prompt and very easy to work with. We chose Joshua as our photographer after viewing his online photo gallery. We were really drawn to the unique viewpoint of many of his photos. Joshua gave us lots of different types of shots to choose from and we also really appreciated the quick turnaround for receiving the finished prints. Definitely recommend his services!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally I bid on the clients photography need. I either call or email back and forth - send the potential client examples of my work and links to my websites. Then if the client hires me I draw up a contract and get to work!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a news cameraman/photographer for 9 years in television news. I have an associates degree in communications as well as fine arts.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I shot a couple of same sex marriage's. I have no problem with same sex marriage. They were both beautiful weddings and the couples were surrounded by incredible people who never stopped giving them love and support. The turnaround time to edit the weddings was pretty quick and the clients were both extremely satisfied with the pictures I took.
