Songwriting and the Guitar

Introduction: Since 2010 I've written some 40 songs and produced some 30 of these. They come out of me. Different styles, different voices, different moods. As I've progressed in my writing, my guitar finds new ways of expressing musical ideas. As Neil Young said, "If you want to write a song, ask a (fine) guitar." I've recently started a songwriting workshop series. I'll run these twice a year, spring and fall. If interested let me know. I've been many things, environmental professional, college teacher, psychologist, acupuncturist. What I love about playing guitar and songwriting is, it's a direct experience of pieces of myself. When they come out true and right, there's a great feeling of pride and accomplishment.
