FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a fair price, guarantee my work & other than materials, I won’t ask for $$ until we are all satisfied with the finished work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually can give a rough estimate over the phone. I like to give an accurate estimate at the time my customer is available to show me what is needed and also ready to have the work done. Most repairs and fixture replacements do not take more than 2-3 hours
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a commercial/residential property manager for 25 years and worked for a time in the installation department at Chase Pitkins(bought out by Home Depot) up in the CNY area. Even though I was in an Infantry unit for 3 yrs in the military, during Hurricane Andrew relief efforts in '92, my building skills were acknowledged and called upon to rebuild roofs for residents that had no shelter. During Deployments to Somalia & Haiti, where we were set up in make shift camps for months, on our downtime I helped build decent bathrooms, tables, and even decks. The most important thing the military taught me that relates to everyone of my customers, is that I can effectively work under any condition. From the age of 15, I have been trained in all areas of building by master carpenters, plumbers, electricians and painters.
