FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices vary depending on the type and level of service provided (ex. in-person vs. online vs. hybrid coaching; personal training vs. nutrition coaching vs. both).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically begin by facilitating a free consultation call during which I learn about the customer's background and goals pertaining to strength training. Based on the customer's specific needs, I will propose the most optimal solution (personal training, nutrition coaching, or a mix of both). From there, I create a customized strength training program and / or individualized nutrition plan for the customer. Every aspect of all training programs and nutrition plans is designed to meet the unique needs of my customers and help them achieve their goals. For my online clients, I request they initially send me videos of their form to ensure they are executing all exercises correctly. We schedule weekly touchpoints to talk about how the training and / or nutrition plan is going, and from there I update the workouts / nutrition plan accordingly. For my in-person clients, I will begin with an assessment of how they perform during key movements to understand their current fitness level. From there, I coach 45 - 60 minute training sessions, and all workouts are designed to help my clients achieve their goals. Regardless of whether my client is online or in-person, I coach with a long-term mentality. I do not provide random workouts just to make people sweat. Rather, every single workout I provide is a piece of a larger, comprehensive training program, which is structured and sequenced with the ultimate goal of increasing strength in key movements that align with the client's goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), which is the most prestigious provider of personal training and nutrition coaching certifications. As I began to specialize in strength training, I completed KILO Strength Society's Program Design and Periodization courses, which teach coaches how to structure workout programs in a way that optimizes strength and muscle mass.
