My private yoga session with Linda lived up to my expectations and then some. She arrived right on time, made me feel comfortable (even though she was in my apartment), and took time to understand my fitness/yoga level so the practice was challenging but not so outside of my comfort zone that I was uncomfortable. This was my first time using thumbtack and it worked out great! Looking forward to having another session with Linda in the future.
I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis for 20 years and I find yoga to be the best exercise for me. Mackenzie came to my house to guide a practice for myself & several friends, each with a different level of ability. She was able to help each of us adapt to the poses. Her knowledge and her love of yoga came through in the way she guided us to awaken our spine and find peace that only comes from realizing that we are each unique in our own way. We were so thankful for our practice with her.

If one person has been put on this earth to use their skills and knowledge of yoga to better the lives of others, it is Danny. Compassionate, patient, and insightful, Danny has not only helped me with a number of specific injuries and discomforts, but also introduced me to how yoga technique and practice can fit into and improve any lifestyle -- even for busy, results-oriented (Type A) people like myself who previously believed cardio was the be-all, end-all of health and fitness. Along with seeking straightforward yoga instruction, I've also come to Danny with lower back pain, a mysterious sprain/spasming at the top of my leg from cycling (quickly diagnosed as a pulled sartorius muscle, for which Danny knew a number of pain-relieving stretches and poses), and general tightness in my neck and shoulders. When I meet with Danny, I know that I'm going to be listened to, thoughtfully instructed, and generally well cared-for. I've also taken one of his group yoga classes, in which he is just as attentive and present. As a teacher, Danny manages to instruct, calm, and heal simultaneously. I can't recommend him highly enough for anyone looking for an introduction to or a deepening of yogic practice.
Since I started practicing yoga in November 2014, I have been attending Michelle Ingkavet Cavanagh's classes regularly. Michelle is an outstanding yoga instructor in every sense of the word. She is a gifted yoga instructor and her classes are always challenging which is exactly what I want in my practice. Michelle always pays great attention to detail and takes great care in offering assistance to students when they need it. I have taken classes with many good yoga instructors but Michelle has a very unique ability to flow seamlessly through vinyasa yoga poses in her classes as if they are second nature to her. Michelle's students have great confidence in her abilities and trust her implicitly. She has a great sense of humor and her manner is such that she makes students feel at ease while in class. She is always quick to assure us that we are capable of achieving great things inside the studio as well as outside if we maintain the right mindset. There is a reason why attendance for Michelle's classes is always excellent. She has helped me tremendously with my practice and I have achieved new heights that I never thought were possible. Michelle is a great yoga instructor but most of all she is a wonderful woman and a great inspiration to everyone! John B.

I have been taking exercise classes with Robin for the past 3-4 years. She is a great teacher who is able to work with people with all kinds of fitness abilities. I really enjoy her classes and feel that I get a challenging workout in them. She is a trained dancer with expertise in yoga and Pilates. In addition to being an excellent instructor, Robin is friendly, patient, and helpful. She is very encouraging and creates an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable.
I had the pleasure of taking a private yoga lesson with Jennifer. She's an amazing teacher. I was very impressed by her experience and knowledge about yoga. She made me feel very comfortable. At the end of the session I felt very relaxed. She taught me many poses to help with my back pain. I will be taking more sessions with her.

Nicky was extremely attentive and intuitive when working with me and gauging the type of experience that would benefit me most. My level of yoga experience was that of a novice, yet she knew I could push harder and helped me to escape my comfort zone relatively seemlessly.
