- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started a few years ago by just watching family and friends pets while they were away and walking dogs while friends and family were out at work. I loved doing it in my spare time because I love pets. I haven't stopped since!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Dog walking and cat sitting have been the most common.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Pick by the personality of the person, not the price or location of the person. Your pets will spend time with whoever you hire so you want to make sure they are a good match for your pet and will be good to them while you're gone. Make sure they are kind and caring as well as confident so your pets will listen to them.
