Julian and his team did an outstanding job. They were flexible and able to fit me in when I needed. They were extremely professional and wonderful to work with from start to finish. They arrived when they said they would and took great care in protecting my home before they even started working which I greatly appreciated . The job came out better than I expected. Can't say enough good about these guys! They came from an hour away, demolished my deck and refinished it the very next day. They tightened up all the connections and even waterproofed the old wood so that it didnt deteriorate on me. I live alone, don't get out much, and even while they worked they let me hang outside with them to talk and explain what they were doing. Nice guys, very skilled, and very fair on the price. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

Terrible I gave this company $4,700 to level a few places of my floors, fix my stairs and rehab 2 doors. I will post photos soon to demonstrate the work they said was complete and billed my another $1400 The stars have a hole the window that was to be sealed has a plastic bag and they said work is complete Please see photos of worked they claim is safe and complete and the correspondence from them when I requested the work that I paid $4.700 of my hard earned money and trust fir them to do. Please don’t let Julian or Solid Square hurt or devastate you and your family like they did mine. I am out almost $5,000 and have nothing to show for it. This pains me and my children terribly. We want to live in a safe place and now I have to save up again RUN! RUN! Please I don’t want you or your family hurt. I am reporting them to The BBB, the New York State attorney general’s office, I already reported them to Thumbtack and I will keep going so they can’t hurt anyone else!

When Julian asked if I'd write him a review I agreed without hesitation. When I was new to real estate investing I didn't have a good contractor. There was always something. Then I met Julian and his team. They're no BS kind of guys, straight shooters, smart. He love's to teach. I've learned a lot from him. He's got good vision. I can't recommend them enough. From a small bathroom to a full reno they always bring the same energy and skill. You'll be happy you hired him.

We offer a 10% discount (up to $500) to all active and retired military members. Thank you for your service. We offer a 5% discount (up to $250) to all law enforcement, fire, EMS, healthcare, and academic professionals. Thank you for all you do.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
ONce we have been contacted by a client through Thumbtack, we send an introductory message and follow-up with either a call or text message to schedule your initial consultation to discuss project details, availability, considerations, and budget range to provide the most accurate quote for the project 👍 We offer both in-person (paid) and virtual (FREE) estimates.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our Managing Director holds an MBA with concentrations in leadership, operational management, communications, and a 22 year apprenticeship under a Master Carpenter. Our Founder has classic training in functional design, organizational management, and 20 years' experience in corporate customer service. Our Lead Installer has 12 years' experience in construction safety, carpentry, site management, and leadership.
