I recently got married this past summer and hired Chris to DJ my wedding reception. He was excellent and a perfect fit for our celebration with about 150 people. He seemed to really care and put a lot of effort in from the first time we talked months before up until the actual wedding day. Chris had a professional setup and atmosphere to him that really showed he knew what he was doing. Most of the guests were 20's and 30's and he definitely knew what kind of music to play to get them dancing and keep the energy and fun up during the entire event. He had great mic skills and made sure our special dances, toasts, and announcements were on schedule as my wife and I wanted them to be. My wife and I gave him a list of songs we wanted to hear a few weeks before and Chris did a good job of incorporating them well without making it sound like it was song after song from an iPod. Overall it was a great and affordable experience for my wife and I, and our guests certainly had a wonderful time! He has a great personality for this kind of job and I highly recommend him to anyone that has a wedding coming up.

My husband and I hired him for our wedding in July of 2013 and could not have been more pleased! We found him through searching online and contacted him in order to avoid other wedding dj companies in our area because we heard they were unfriendly and a friend of mine had a negative experience in the past with one. Chris got back to us right away and really had enthusiasm for his job and put a lot of effort into meeting our needs and answering all questions and concerns we had. The ceremony was a blast as we had around 200 people in an outdoor/pavilion type setup. Chris music selection was perfect for our dinner hour and then he really got the energy up and people dancing. He had a great mic presence and kept things organized. He played all of the songs we requested. His djing along with the 20 cases of wine we had certainly made it a fun atmosphere and a great time for our guests! Chris has a great personality and did a wonderful job. My husband and I are very thankful for the awesome experience he showed us. We strongly recommend Chris Washburn as a dj for your wedding celebration!

I hired chris to be the dj at my wedding reception on the finger lakes in August. I was skeptical at first because his company was rather new but I talked with him along with a handful of other djs. I actually booked another dj but that fell through due to a scheduling error and I decided to go with Chris because he was very personable, polite, and left a good impression on me The other dj falling through was probably the best thing that could have happened because chris was AMAZING! We talked several times before the wedding and he put together a plan for the celebration based on exactly what I wanted. It went very smooth and his selection of music was perfect. I had a lot of guests telling me how much fun it was compared to other weddings. I owe a lot of that to chris as he does a great job djing. He was a pleasure to work with and really went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied throughout the entire process. I certainly recommend chris as a wedding dj for sure.

I can not recommend Chris enough! He is a talented DJ that has every student dancing and enjoying themselves. Chris provided an outstanding service to the Horseheads High School Junior Prom, March 2014. Prior to the prom, Chris was diligent in meeting with me, but also making sure that the culture of Horseheads was kept at the prom. Chris went above and beyond in preparing for the prom. He was always in contact with myself, and the venue. At prom, Chris had every student on their feet dancing for four straight hours! The music he played was appropriate for a high school prom, and the students were all engaged. The dance floor was packed every minute!!!! I can not recommend Chris enough, he is exactly what every high school needs. . Thank you again Chris, you are amazing! We look forward to you next year, and many more to come!

As the new advisor in charge of the Prom, I was tempted to keep our "traditional" DJ, but when the Committee and I read over Chris' testimonials and listened to his playlists on Sound Cloud, we agreed to pay the extra $ and hire Washburn Entertainment. Of the 109 attendees, 100 of them were on the dance floor for most of the night. Chris remained engaged with the students and was constantly on his computer masterfully stopping and starting their favorite songs at precise times to keep them dancing all night long! The correspondence leading up to our event was informative, timely, and assuring. Chris knows his music, and he knows how to keep people dancing. He reads the crowd and remains totally focused on the job at hand.
