Whether your goal is to change your body composition or maximize your athletic performance, we’ll get it done. My name is Darrin and I’ve been personal training since 2013 when I graduated from Ithaca College with a Masters degree in Human Performance. I have trained all types of individuals and athletes since then and have worked very hard to enable my clients to meet their goals. I am currently the lead coach at Pallas Fitness (formerly CrossFit Pallas) and I specialize in Strength and Conditioning, Crossfit Training, Boxing and Weight Loss. I guide my clients through every aspect of their training from the program, their mechanics, diet, supplement considerations, recovery practices and accountability strategies. My clients success is the most important aspect of my business and it’s how I gauge my own.

Darrin is extremely knowledgeable and approachable. His expertise will help you reach all of your health goals whether that be nutrition, strength, endurance, aerobic capacity, gymnastics, etc. I just completed 3 strength cycles he programmed and I not only got faster and stronger but my firm improved as well. I would highly recommend him to ANYONE, it doesn't matter what your goal is, Darrin and Performance Rx will help you achieve it.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a dual Masters degree from Ithaca College in Human Performance and Sport and Exercise Psychology. I have also been a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and hold CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Gymnastics certifications.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I have worked with all types of clients from the general public to high School, college and professional athletes. I also specialize in military, fire-fighter, law-enforcement and first responder training.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Look at their credentials and meet them in person to get a feel for them! Not every coach is created equal and not training program works for everyone.
