Hi, Antoinette and I'm sorry for my let down of a no-show and no reply or answers afterwards. I was prepared to come in for the event, but I fell ill and slept in. While I understand that this is highly and irrefutably unprofessional, I will point out the fact that I did NOT have another job to do on that day (10/26) and whatever Thumbtack Support told you relating to that is untrue. Alas, I hope your future endeavors go well with other professionals and I apologize for wasting your time as well.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I always keep in mind to offer affordable pricing to all customers based on the current market and travel expenses. While I do charge an overtime fee ($1/6 mins.) and extra service fees, they aren't meant to empty your wallet/account; I also offer recurring service discounts for potentially loyal customers to take advantage of a job done well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I stay professional and polite, make sure to ask for crucial details and supplies of the job/project, confirm the payment method and time of arrival, and get straight to work.
