I have great exposure to techniques pertinent to managing a client’s endurance, flexibility and lifestyle considerations especially when formulating a health plan. “I’ve always had issues with injuries, nutrition, my self image and I quickly get bored with my work outs. When I contacted John for a session, I was a little nervous because my experiences with trainers had not been successful. I always felt like the workouts weren’t challenging me and giving me the results I wanted. But as soon as our session started, John let me know that the session was about me and tailoring a work out that would not only challenge me but keep me interested. I also voiced my goals to lose weight and he educated me on how we can stay motivated and stick to the plan. He made sure I realized that I can reach my goals . But he made sure that I realized it won’t happen over night and I had to really commit to making life changes. He’s not only a great trainer but your own motivational mentor. He wants you to succeed and will help you in anyway he can!

Did my first workout with John Thurs 2/12/15. It was a complimentary training session that lasted 1 hour but it was a great experience.. After my assessment I explained I’ve always had issues with my self image and I quickly get bored with my work outs. So when I contacted John for a session, I was a little nervous because my experiences with trainers had not been successful. At first I could not have imagined what fitness and with the right personal training would do for me. I am a person who has never particularly liked my physical shape and just comforted myself with the thought that at least I looked good in clothes. However, over the last few months of training and eating more food than I thought humanly possible, I have begun to see a body I really like. It is true that one can change their shape through your program. What a powerful feeling I have attained from doing this for myself…it is a great reward. Last year I had been hospitalized for a stomach ailment that could not be diagnosed by all of the fine doctors that examined me, and the problem persisted over the next year until I came to see you and learned the basics of eating properly. It just me showed me how far we have gotten from practical thinking, and I still find it hard to believe that these doctors never mentioned proper diet, only medication. John, I can only give you my sincerest thanks in return for all you have taught me. It has been a very rewarding experience and I would recommend it to anyone who has a desire to live life and not just tolerate the sluggish way most of us go through it.

After doing my trial workout with John Monday 1.12.15 I was totally hooked! He was very motivating and push me out of my comfort zone making sure each exercise was executed correctly. It was a great workout and I signed up with him for 36 session after our initial consultation. John is a professional at what he does a great motivator and leader. I cannot wait to see the transition my body does over the couple of months!!

I have been training John for the past two months. He is the absolute best! John truly cares about the "whole" person, not just their outer appearance. He discusses the importance of food intake, proper protein/ carb balances, necessary sleep and stress reduction. I am initially starting to train with him to prepare for my upcoming wedding and couldn't have been happier with the results! Due to this, I plan on continuing to train with him two times per week ever after. I strongly recommend John and his Everstrong Fitness personal training program to anyone who is looking to get in shape and feel better about their body.
