I am a wedding planner and have been for 15 plus years. I would like to recommend without any hesitation James Midyette (Erie Mobile) as an awesome DJ. I recently worked with James at a very large wedding here on the Outer Banks of NC. James was prepared in every way to do a reception that lasted from 4:30 pm-10:00pm. His equipment was state of the art, programed extremely well. He had more than adequate lighting for the large dance floor. He and the bride had worked on a tightly scheduled itinerary which in turn helped my job run very smooth compared to many DJ's that I have worked in my past wedding planning and coordinating. James was personal and handled the guests with the utmost integrity. He had an ability to keep the dancing and enjoyment of the guests and that spoke very highly of his work to me. James' attitude toward minor or major interruptions kept the attention where it was needed-on the party and on the bride and groom. It is hard to respond to an improvement on this service because it went so well. The only possible thing could be some more vocalization during the announcement of songs. I highly recommend James Midyette for any and all types of events. His humor, honor and again integrity came forth in many ways during the event. I hope to work with him myself in future events so I highly recommend getting any booking with him at earliest possible time of your event. Thank you for your time.

Our experience working with James as our wedding DJ was great from start to finish. I was fairly hard to please as a bride, and I ended up very happy with how everything turned out. He encouraged us to choose whatever songs we desired for the dancing as well as background music during the cocktail hour and dinner. He was more than willing to find every song we asked for if he didn't already have it. He also made great recommendations for songs as well and made sure that we didn't forget any details of the reception. We also appreciated that he traveled so far to do our wedding. When it came time for the reception, he really kept the crowd going and knew exactly which songs to play. He had a great DJ voice too. His large variety of equipment helped set the mood and turned the dance floor into a really fun place for everyone. All the folks at the wedding seemed to have a great time, both kids and adults. James was very friendly and easy to work with; he was very flexible and aimed to make our day perfect. We would recommend his DJ services to anyone holding a wedding reception or any other type of party.
