I have been training with Dewayne for the past three months and within that time frame I have lost 18 lbs. I recently had a baby via c section so I had to wait 6 -9 months before I was cleared to get back to any intense work outs. Dewayne was aware of my fitness goals and physical limitations. He worked with me to tailor the exercises my abilities. After a few weeks of training with Dewayne I started to feel stronger and more energetic. His workout style is intense but well calculated. For me he incorporated a lot of full body excerises and intensity training which really helped me to achieve fast results. As a new mom and a first time mom at that I didn't have much time to train once or twice a week but Dewayne made sure that our training sessions were effective, he even created a workout plan for the days we did not meet. I have received many complements on my weight loss and it has even inspired my co workers and friends to begin work out regimens. Joey is a phenomenal trainer. After having declining results at the gym (and being bored), 1x1 training with Joey was just the kick-in-the-butt I needed. Our workouts were generally a mix of metabolic conditioning and strength - and he was the right amount of demanding to push you; there was no sleep walking through these workouts. He varied and tailored each workout, and was skilled enough to adapt it to the equipment and space available at my building's gym. He was also super flexible and accommodating in scheduling. We're in a month into our training program with Greg and its going great. He's excellent - our workouts are a nice balance of hard physical work and fun cardio with boxing. We do a lot of laughing as Greg makes jokes and keeps our spirits up as we push ourselves with the weight training. Not only is my daughter in great shape because of Rhondas' working with her, but she also got her to stand up streight and sit up streight, this was not an easy task. But Peter is able to keep me focused, engaged and enthusiastic with my 6am workouts and I leave feeling great and ready to tackle the day. He has listened to my workout goals and developed a personalized workout plan for me. I feel like I am working out more effectively than ever before and I can't wait to see the results (I am only a week in). I was impressed the first session when he said that it was a better use of his and my time if I did my cardio warm-up before he arrived so that I wasn't paying him to watch me run on a treadmill - I feel like that showed he respected that I was paying for training and he wanted to make sure I got my money's worth. Peter has also given me great advice about nutrition and workouts outside of my training sessions with him. Charles is an excellent trainer. He's very engaging and incredibly intuitive when it comes to working out and his clients' needs (and he's great at catering to them, too). He's also a perfect match for my training style because he's able to make what you're doing fun while simultaneously paying close attention to your form and adjusting when necessary; he's able to balance distraction and precision in a way that is incredibly effective and something I haven't seen before with any other trainers. I have been working with Daryl for about a month now. I hired him to help me loose weight and tone so I wont end up with sagging skin or a flat butt. He comes to me three times a week for mostly strength training and has instructed me to do cardio on three other days when I am not scheduled to see him. I am very pleased with the relationship we are building because I was a little nervous at first finding someone I would feel comfortable with. Daryl is very friendly yet gentlemanly and I never feel awkward around him. He has a good sense of humor which helps when your as uncoordinated and unbalanced like I am. I originally hired him to give me motivation to get me focused but now Hes so much more. I can do pushups!!! A month ago, when he did my evaluation, I couldn't even finish 3. Now, I can do 5 sets of 10 with about a 2 minute break in between each set. It may not sound like much but for me this is huge. I've never had upper body strength in my life and have been very out of shape and inactive for years. Daryl pushes me and keeps me focused but not in an overbearing kind of way. I would recommend him to others and am planning on putting my 9 year old in his boxing classes. I feel very happy and accomplished because of him and I'm very excited to see what the future holds for my body. Other things that are probably important to note is he is very reliable and usually flexible if you have an emergency. He works with me for everything. He is patient but doesn't let you slouch. Lol. And he has given me diet instructions to help along. I really can not tell you how much of me has changed in just a month. I dont really have any concerns at this point. Where do I start. I met Cedric through a friend that was also utilizing his services and heard nothing but great things at even greater prices. At our initial session which was FREE I explained that I was going to do Tough Mudder in October which left us about 4 months to train ( its recommended that you train for 6-8 months) and he geared each and every workout to that end. I was nervous all the way to the starting line, but with his training,I finished the entire 13 mile obstacle course.!!!! Cannot wait until next year to reduce my time and looking forward to Cedric helping me get there.

Serge has been training me following the birth of my son, and my body has bounced back in HUGE part to him. I have done many workouts in NYC and worked with many trainers-- these past experiences can be good initially but frequently lead to stale workouts and a plateau of results. Jordan is seriously amazing! I have always been kind of skeptical about personal training because I always thought it was for the "meat head" guys or the elderly but I took a risk because 1) I wanted to improve my body/health and 2) because Jordan seemed super cool when we talked before the consultation. Also, he's gay-friendly. I tell you, I'm a hand full to put up with and this straight ally seriously doesn't judge or make me feel uncomfortable (which is amazing). As a gay man, many of us worry about the chemistry/vibe of interactions with our heterosexual counterparts whether it's at the barbershop, gym or bar but, there's no worry when training with this guy! I mean he's not gonna sing "I'm coming out" with you but he'll definitely provide many laughs! As far as working out is concerned, his workouts will kick your ass! He's very observant to see how far you can go and will encourage you to go further. I highly recommend him whether you're gay, straight, black or white, crazy or sane :-) I immediately booked a package with him after our 1st sesssion because I enjoying working out with him! But I have to say, as much as I rave about him, he did tell me to consider weight watchers and I almost hit him with my shoe haha. But I'm sure it probably it would be smart choice but I refuse to count points or calories haha. Book him are my final words for this review:-)

I was the kind of girl who never thought she would ever need a personal trainer -- EVER. Over the summer, I had the luxury for spending 2/12 to almost 3 hours in the gym, 4 times a week. Yes, my body was in excellent shape, but the problem was I burnt myself out almost every time I went, which made the follow-up trips to the gym even more daunting than the last. With his training I've accomplished more than I was doing on my own, in a FRACTION of the time I was pouring into the gym. As any other gym junkie will tell you, the results don't come unless you put the work in, but by FAR Richard provides the right tools, guidance, expertise and enthusiasm to help you achieve your body goals in a HEALTHY way. When i first set up an appointment with Richard , he was very prompt in responding , I sensed his enthusiasm and I was excited to start , he informed me on what to expect durubg the training session and also what to bring. Gil is excellent and although willing to adapt the workout to what you want, it is always an intense workout, which I love. I didn't like the previous gym he was at but stayed only because of his personal training. I just joined the new gym that he works at and am glad he changed because he picked a gym that I really. But I joined mainly to be able to continue training with Gil. He recently introduced his partner Trini to the programme and she is also a very versatile trainer who knows her stuff and gives intense workouts. I had two separate 25 training session packages with Trainer Chris Langsdorf and I loved every bit of it. Saw legitimate results right away and always pushed me to take my work outs further and kept me motivated through each session. I also learned a bunch of new exercises I didn't know and wouldn't normally have done. To top it off, in between sets, we laughed, traded jokes, talked life - I got not only a trainer, but a friend out of it too.

I would highly recommend Chris as a trainer. Around a year ago I decided to get a trainer to work on strength and improve my workouts. I've been training with him since then. He keeps the workouts interesting and challenging, pushing me to get outside of my comfort zone, within reason. Chris gives me feedback on form and technique, and does it in a constructive way. Great to have him as my trainer!
