I met the trainer Rodney by signing up for $60 discounted promotion from a representative on the street. really needed to get back in shape so I figured what the heck. Rodney is great trainer and is really helpful and I've seen a huge change in myself since working with him. I've also noticed a big change in terms of my cardio in the past few weeks. I'd definitely recommend these lessons! Rodney has a very unique style which incorporates fun, knowlege, he is very patient and introduces the different components of boxing with a very scientific advantageous approach to boxingat a rate that is challenging but also comfortable. I have trained with other boxing trainers in the pass, all of which were quite good ..but Rodney teaches on whole another level. You'll be hooked after the first lesson!

Lion Style is an art which gives an individual the abuility to defend themselves from any angle with you legs( since you have longer reach and more power with a kick), then your hands. This is a science built art and utilizes kenitics with psychology to strike an opponent without being strike, lead an opponent into an action that allow you to strike, and confuse the opponent. The 8 year old who is bullied at school was very happy with his private lesson. He's already feeling more confident and has learned some self defense moves that are appropriate for his age, height, strength level, etc. John will be doing bi-weekly one on one self defense lessons for the next few weeks and then some. I am dedicated and committed to both the martial arts and the student's learning and self-confidence. The martial arts began centuries ago with the teacher and student trusting and learning together in a unique and private setting. The student was able to not only learn self-defense, confidence, and protection skills, but they were also able to learn and grow as an individual and as a person. The element of trust became easier for the student as they were able to confide and learn in this sacred and private setting. There are no other students to distract you from learning, no lines, no substitute teachers, no being stuck in the back of the class or the back of the room. All questions were asked and all questions were relevant. The student was always the priority and the focus of the class and session. Always more time for learning and confidence building. That's the tradition where I came from and what I believe in. No uniform is required, no long term contract, and no hidden fee. The only request from me, Sensei Dennis, is for serious students only who keep their word, who come to class on time, who are respectful to the martial arts and the sensei, and who are willing to trust and learn. Any student who is willing to learn comes into the room leaving their ego at the door. With that agreement in mind, then that's our contract. Private classes are 90 minutes long and can be requested for any day of the week at any time provided that the time is not already scheduled. Semi-private and small group classes can be requested and done upon request. Classes can be in the day, afternoon, evening or late hours. Classes are for men, women, children, and couples. No age is too old or too young. Everyone is welcomed. Remember that personal safety and protection skills never goes out of style.
