It is our pleasure to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Eric Jahnke of Veteran Construction. Eric was the contractor for a remodeling project of our 15x21 sunroom in the Fall of 2013. We had no prior relationship with Eric, who was recommended by a friend of ours. The scope of the remodeling involved re-building the three exterior walls, window replacement (6 windows and 1 patio door), siding replacement, construction of 1 deck and stairs, ceiling replacement (pine), laying hardwood floor to match existing floors in the house, and all of the finish drywall and trim work in the interior.
Erics services as a contractor were invaluable, and we are extremely pleased with the final result. The quality of the work was consistently top notch. Throughout the project, we were impressed with Erics commitment to generating a top quality product, rather than maximizing his profit margin. He kept us closely informed of completion dates of the different phases of the project. Erics communication was clear, informative, and helpful, and he was always available by phone. When unforeseen problems surfaced, Eric worked diligently with us to identify a solution that was acceptable to us.
In closing, we are very pleased with the final product which Eric was instrumental in delivering, and we are extremely impressed with his work as a contractor. We would not hesitate to hire Eric again, or to recommend him to our friends and neighbors.

My wife and I hired Eric to build a replacement deck on our home. We are more than impressed with the results. Even when more material was needed, Eric consulted with us and did not proceed until all expectations were explained and we agreed. Also, the quality of the job is fantastic and he nailed our design idea right on the head! I highly recommend Eric to anyone looking for an excellent job at more than a fair price!! We will definitley do business with him again!

Eric had given me an estimate for a partial bathroom remodel. His estimate was very fair and the work he produced far exceeded my expectations.
He added a little wall to close in the bath tub, tile the bathtub walls and main floor, added a vent fan, put up sheet rock and painted.
Eric was very professional and kept me well informed throughout the remodel. My husband and I are very pleased with him and the entire process. We will be calling him back to do our kitchen.

Half way thru my complicated bathroom total renovation job and I can already say Eric is amazing. Careful, skilled, creative problem solver. My house is 100+ years old and so a challenge not every contractor either wants or can take on. Eric has kept me continually informed about those challenges and how to solve them, his crew is great too! I'll let you know how the project turns out but for now, Wow.
