I scheduled Wednesday morning for this company to come out Friday 8am-12pm for a leaking faucet. At 7:43am they called saying the tech had to go to another job and my options were either to 1. reschedule for next week or 2. pay an additional $60 for a weekend call ($89 just to look at the issue). I asked why I would be charged more when they are cancelling on me and they said the $29 service fee that I was originally offered is no longer offered? I let them know that thumb tack advertises that price so they may want to update this site if they truly have increased prices. I ended up going with another company (Allen home repairs) through this app and he came out a few hours later and fixed the leak and additionally installed a new toilet for us. Seems like this company was just trying to scam me out of more money, knowing I had a bad leak that couldn’t wait to be fixed until next week…
