It's funny how life operates. My initial reason for reaching out to Vladimire was for life coaching and in the end I ended going for marriage counseling. I loved her unbiased opinion and overall her energy. Lovely person to be around and her insights were extremely helpful so far. My husband and I are a long way away from recovery, but I have faith that we can turn around all the negative that has happened in the past.
My first meeting with Craig was great, the level of professionalism he has was what help me pick him from other options, his energy, level of commitment and attitude are amazing. He tailored my training in what I need to improve and i feel better everyday. He is really one of a kind, speaking coach, life coach and carrear coach, he is the best
"Judy is an exceptional life coach. Too many in the coaching field couch and cover their work in hopes of not giving too much of their work away without compensation. Judy does not withhold her knowledge or expertise from those she serves. Her training, insight and experience is evident from the moment she begins engaging with you. Her listening skills are apparent. The questions she asks of you are structured to stimulate your thinking. Judy is a unique Life and Career coach. She belongs on your team as you transition and transform your own life and career objectives."
Tom has shown that he genuinely cares about how, when, and if I progress. He is invested in whether I actually achieve breakthroughs toward my personal success. Considering that my goals are so immense: to metamorphosize an ashamed, unhappy, ineffective, & lonely guy, with limited professional influence, into a proud, happy, effective, socially fulfilled, & profoundly influential version of myself, it would have been easy for him to give up on me. Even though I'm confident many life coaches in his position would have terminated our relationship months ago, dealing with such a high-maintenance client as myself - expressing to him hundreds of suggestions / criticisms / requests, expecting a personalized experience that caters to my individual needs, and offering frequent pessimism or guarded skepticism at best - he has been patient, flexible, & determined to support my progress. It has been several months since Tom started coaching me, and I have consciously delayed writing a review until I might have a sense not just that he cares and won't give up (after all, that's part of the job description), but that he will actually help me transform myself, in ways that countless others haven't. I have worked with therapist after therapist for years & years, undergone treatment with psychiatrists, hired dozens of countless project collaborators and personal assistants, and tried more times than I can remember to count on the support of family and friends in order to help me make the steady progress needed to break out of a deep debilitating personal rut that has lasted for decades. All of the above have been unsuccessful. I naturally wasn't expecting Tom to be any different. But I gave him a shot, deciding that I deserved a chance for renewed hope. I almost gave up on him and on myself, but he didn't give up on either. And finally, after months of 'blood, sweat, and tears,' I have come to believe there is hope at the end of the tunnel. I'm beginning to make steady transformative progress, and I'm looking forward to the journey that lies ahead. Prerequisites for success: I have to be patient, make a few reasonable leaps of faith, and make an investment in my future, emotionally and financially. I also have to be an active participant and be willing to gradually take the reins myself. I finally have to accept his limitations, while recognizing and counting on his strengths. His limitations: Tom is not a miracle worker, and in comparison to others I've worked with, he's not the most charismatic, inspiring, eloquent, forward, original, perceptive, intellectual, tech-savvy, exciting, or assertive. But his STRENGTHS far outweigh these limitations: He is persistent in his efforts. He is determined to be an ally on the road to victory, offering extra support when needed, never conceding defeat. He is compassionate, showing empathy for my experiences & struggles, frustrations and pain, & and my initial often-pessimistic attitude. He is patient, and will put in the time to understand, listen, and reevaluate / regroup when necessary. He is humble and modest, not expecting recognition, praise, notoriety, credit, or gratitude for going above and beyond. He is affordable, & ends up charging far less money than he could for his time, and far less than any of the other life coaches I considered, let alone being a mere fraction of the cost of a therapist or psychiatrist! He is respectful, as a friend would be, but sensitive & honors any boundaries I set. He never speaks down to me. He is honest, and when requested, very candid about what he thinks needs improvement, more, focus, or a shift in perception. He doesnt rub me the wrong way as a salesman might, as though Im a source of income, but always treats me like a person who deserves to achieve his dreams. He is passionate about helping people. He works very hard, often going above and beyond what others would do, putting his clients ahead of his personal life. He is fair, respects agreements, honors his word, readily forgives, and shows lenience. He is creative, willing to try to approach problems from new perspectives and angles. He is open-minded, willing to work with approaches and systems hes unfamiliar with that I know are likely to be effective. He is trusting, and gives me the benefit of the doubt, while also helping me to become more accountable. He is reliable, and I have been able to count on him in ways I couldnt count on therapists, employees, mentors, friends, & family. His system of "open access" helps me throughout the week, and this unique system of coaching has been the key to my success, helping me beat procrastination and not lose sight of my goals. He is flexible, & accommodates limitations, changes, and conflicts with my schedule, deficiencies in my attitude, and treats my perceived failures like learning opportunities to take a new, more promising approach. He is resilient, and puts up with much more than necessary for someone in his position, and never complained once to me about it. Finally, he is kind, complimentary, and friendly. He's like that 'conscience on your shoulder.' I would recommend him to anyone who is considering hiring a life coach, or to anyone who has unfulfilled dreams they know they deserve to and could achieve, but haven't. Thank you, Tom, for your efforts, and quality work :)
We're off to a great start! I just signed on for a 3 month life coaching cycle with Jerry and am very pleased. I had my 1st coaching skype session earlier this week and gained much clarity and many useful takeaways both through our session and through the discovery questionnaire she gave me to do prior. Life is already feeling better. Jerry is very responsive, kind and professional!
Justin is a great professional! I really took a lot benefits and learnings from him! I like the way he aproaches and keep challenging to get the best from me. In 3 sessions i could already improve alot my communication/presentation skills with much higher self awareness!
I'm down 60 lbs. Feel amazing. I took 1 st place at a weight loss contest. If not for Coach tommy, I could never have figured out the confusing world of how to eat.
I was truly taken back by Dr.Chece's professionalism. My son who is mentally challenged does not take easily to people, but took right away to Dr.Chece. After making a major career shift, I found myself challenged with difficulty navigating the corporate waters; from ensuring my voice was heard, developing business cases for diverse audiences and senior executives, and overcoming political obstacles. Joanne's coaching has empowered me with the tools I need to be successful and I was even promoted to a coveted Director role in under a year. Working with Joanne has proved to be one of the most important decisions in my 20 year career.
Kevin Burns has a depth of knowledge, compassion and understanding that I haven’t seen and or experienced in a long time. He gave me lots of personal advice to help me get “unstuck” at a time I needed it most. With his advice I was able to turn things around. His words came from a deep place and has helped me “change course” in many areas of my life. He’s warm and very professional and has a good heart. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking assistance. He’s an amazing ‘Life Coach’ ...Keith Gitens
I love working with Carmel for coaching. She has made such a difference in my life by coaching me through negative beliefs and emotional blocks that I have had for decades. Her powerful questions and processes have provided me tools for each day of my life and have helped me move forward to abundance and joy. I now look forward to each day instead of dreading getting up. I am so grateful for her calm, caring and compassionate way in helping me to reach my dream of a fulfilling life. I would highly recommend Carmel.
Before working with Jim, I exercised occasionally, but never felt like I was getting anywhere. I mountain biked, played with the kids and ran with my dog, and generally considered myself in OK shape (albeit 15lbs heavier than I should be). My workout runs were typically 2-3 miles at top speed (around 7:30 pace, and my Heart Rate would max out around 180bpm). I didn’t enjoy these “all out” runs, and would usually dread going out for my next run. I’m the type of person who likes to succeed at whatever I’m doing, so I’d exercise in “bursts”. During a burst, I’d exercise frequently and would enjoy seeing my pace improve from 8:00/mile down to 7:17/mile (my personal best 2.5 miles). When I stopped seeing improvement (or got injured), exercise would drop down my priority list, I’d stop for a while and would pick it up again a few months later when I had time. In retrospect, my workout regime was unenjoyable and unsustainable. In March 2013 I weighed 187lbs and felt generally unhealthy and out of shape, so started running. I reached out to Jim and mentioned to him that I was running and he started asking questions. It quickly became clear to me that Jim knew a ton about how to train, and he offered to help coach me. On Jim’s advice, I started wearing a Garmin watch and HR monitor on my runs so he could track my workouts. After a few runs he evaluated my situation as: 1. I have a gifted heart rate (who knew?) so had good potential 2. I was running one type of workout (short+fast), and needed to: a. Slow down and get in more miles, and b. Do different types of workouts, each with its own specific purpose 3. Change my diet to get off my “sugar cycle” and shift and my metabolism to become efficient at burning fat Jim said if I followed his program that I would accomplish things I wouldn’t think possible. I figured I’d give it a try. It turns out that following Jim’s recommendations were easy to do. In fact, switching to longer, slower runs made the whole running experience dramatically more enjoyable. I actually looked forward to going out on runs because I was didn’t suffer the way I used to. Jim also gave me some interesting podcasts and books on the topics of health and fitness; I’d listen to them while running on the trail and get more informed and motivated. I found it very motivating to have Jim monitoring my exercise. I’d send him a report after every workout including the Garmin file; he’d analyze it and give specific recommendations on what workout to do next, diet, recovery, sleep, injury prevention, etc. During this period (April 2013-July 2013) I got the exercise bug. I talked to Jim or emailed every day and was really enjoying it, but I was still running much slower than I used to; I probably averaged 9-10 minute mile pace and hadn’t done anything near my 7:17/mile record. I couldn’t see the results, but Jim constantly analyzed the heart rate, pace, elevation profile of my runs and assured me that I was getting much fitter. It turned out that he was right. He was Mr. Miyagi and I was the Karate Kid. I did a sprint triathlon with some colleagues from work in Aug-2013. Despite never having ridden a road bike and being a weak swimmer, my fitness allowed me to finish 3rd in my age group, and (to my surprise) I ran the 5k at 7:02/mile pace after having swum 750 meters and biked 12 miles. After this, I started seeing some amazing improvements: • Aug 2013: Weight had dropped from 187lbs to 163lbs; resting heart rate had dropped from 70 to 48bpm • Oct 2013: Olympic triathlon: 28th of 204 people. Ran 10k at 6:58/mile (after 0.9 mile swim + 24 mile bike) • Feb 2014: Half marathon: 6:44/mile pace (finished top 5%) • Mar 2014: Sprint triathlon: won age group. 11th of 194 people. Ran 6:27/mile pace (after swim + bike) • April 2014: Olympic triathlon: Ran 6:48/mile pace (after 0.9 mile swim + 25 mile bike) • May 2014: Trail Half Marathon (>2,000’ of gain): 3rd overall out of 134 participants (1:44, 7:56 per mile pace) • July 2014: Half Ironman (“70.3”): 76th of 2535. I even beat 5 pros. Qualified for 70.3 world champs in my first 70.3 • Sep 2014: 70.3 World Championships: 902nd/2235. I raced well and enjoyed it (the competition was very fast) • Nov 2014: Ironman Arizona. 10 hours 46 minutes. 170th of ~3000 (top 6%) despite injury issues. • 2015 Season: 2 Ironmans, a 70.3, a sprint (won age group) and an Olympic (8th overall out of 608 athletes!) It has been really fun to improve this quickly. Jim’s transformation approach has made it enjoyable and sustainable. If I hadn’t worked with Jim, my March 2013 exercise burst would have ended a month later, I’d probably still weigh in the 180s, be doing bursts of exercise and my fitness goal would still be to break my 7:17/mile record. Instead, I’ve successfully and sustainably transformed my health and fitness. I set a goal in early 2014 to qualify for the 70.3 and Ironman world championships. A year ago, that goal would have seemed (1) unachievable and (2) completely insane. Now I’m half way there. I know it IS possible, and more importantly I’m enjoying the journey. I talk to Jim daily by email or on the phone. No matter how much faster/fitter I get, I find it immensely helpful to have Jim pore over the details of my workouts, provide feedback, prescribe new workouts, rest, sleep, injury advice, nutrition ideas, equipment, motivation and goal setting. My goals and exercise program will change, but my transformation is permanent. Jim’s approach made it possible.
I had the extreme pleasure of working with Gillian at Shiftability Coaching. This was my first experience with any type of coaching. As a parent, I was completely distraught over a decision to have my young children enroll in public school in the suburbs or stay in the city and keep them in private school. Gillian's thought provoking questions and exercises allowed me to differentiate between my feelings of fear and instinct. Within 4 sessions I was able to make a decision with joy and confidence! Gillian is very kind, friendly and easy to talk to. I felt her guidance came from a place of genuine and authentic interest in my journey. I honestly cannot say enough about my experience. Thank you Gillian. I felt as though I was talking to a dear friend!
I contacted Angela for life coaching. It's the best thing I ever did! She's outstanding with her dedication to helping you achieve your ultimate goals. To this day I consult with her monthly regarding my life and career choices. Her charming and warm personality make it a pleasure!
David is by far not your ordinary image consultant! His expertise, knowledge, and sense of style aims to set you up for success both professionally and personally. He brings the best out of you (externally) by understanding and exposing what is within you (internally). In other words, your revamped image is based on your personality. This builds and creates "true" image, and individual style and stamina for the long-term! Not only that, he goes over and beyond by providing you positive feedback as a mentor and life coach. At the end of the day, thanks David - I nailed that interview! :-) You are the real deal!
At the time I met Brent Piper, (a chance meeting), I was thinking about all of the things I needed to do on the last leg of my life. Trouble is I feel stuck and very tired. I was surprised his office is located in the Wall Street area. I was looking forward to getting some answers to my delema and what to do about it. After several meetings, telling him about my life, I was a little disappointed I was'nt told mm what to do. What I learned is that it is up to me to make choices and to act on them. Brent points out certain gestures and feelings that I am not aware of. He gets me to role play and also speak honestly to the people who have had a negative impact on me; that certain words or actions towards me have hindered me in life. Sometimes I feel like stopping the sessions for fear of revealing too much. But then, I feel there is more work to do. The real stuff is just beginning and Brent can help me the way a theater director helps an actor make a breakthrough. I look forward to our sessions.
I was initially skeptical about "life" coaching. Why would I need it if everything seemed ok"? On my journey with Eli I discovered that ok is acceptable, but abundance is a conscious choice and there for the taking - if I wanted it. And not only did I want it - I found it. Eli is incredibly smart and intuitive, creative and able to think out of the box yet very structured in his approach. I felt his experience in professional sports was unusual and refreshing- and greatly benefitted our interaction. I liked the elegance of his thinking process, his flexibility and his ability to listen and ask the right questions. Many times over, he challenged me to think outside of my comfort zone. Identifying and addressing certain issues and hence developing strategies together was an amazing process which made me feel empowered and in control.
At the age 47 and a little out of shape, I needed to get in top physical shape for a police academy. (In New Jersey the age limit for police officers is 35, but there is no age limit for correction and sheriffs dept)...... so I new if I wanted this job in corrections, I had to be ready, and if anybody has been to any police academy, you know it's a para military atmosphere. Screaming at you from day one, not caring about your feelings. Their only concerns is that you will be physically and mentally strong in law enforcement environment. The first Day I walked in, I talked to Bob about my mental and physical weaknesses, and he told me not to worry, and to listen to everything he had to say moving forward. I literally felt at ease from that moment on. Now it wasn't always easy, Bob pushed my mental and physical abilities beyond I thought I could ever reach, and after 6 months of running, sprinting,spinning,rowing,pull-ups, push-ups, weight training, jump roap, etc., I found myself in the best physical and mental shape of my life. Bob is more than just a trainer, he is a trainer, a life coach, a friend, (and even an enemy, lol when he had to be). I am proud to say that on July 12, 2016 I graduated as a New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission corrections officer, cycle 29 and have been working in the jail ever since, and I couldn't be happier about my new career in law enforcement, but most of all, I couldn't of been happier about the choice I made walking into Bob's studio, because I know I could have never done it on my own. Sometimes in life we need a little help to get to the next level, and that's why I made the investment in myself to get to the next level with Bob Pelsang!!!!! Sincerely, S.C.O. T. Venezio
I have worked with Angelique Mercurio as her student and very much appreciate her deep knowledge and sincere integrity. Whether teaching or coaching, Angelique Mercurio clearly demonstrates a seasoned level of knowledge and experience and a passion for what she does. I was extremely happy with Meena's skills of French and of the English language. I was able to pass my college level English and French classes with high 90's. I received A's in both my classes. She is very much interested in the student's success and takes genuine interest in the work. Meena has a lot of patience when she teaches and is able to relate to the student's situation in any level. I am sure that whatever subject she teaches, Meena will help people excel in the subject matter. She also was a life coach for me. She helped me to understand that good study habits and good overall skills in life are necessary to succeed. Getting good grades is not good enough, but your attitude makes all the difference. I would recommend Meena as a tutor as well as a life coach.
Shirley really takes the time to listen and understand what her clients needs are. She is knowledgable and compassionate> Shirley offers practical solutions that are actionable and helped me move forward in my business. The time she spent with me and the advice she provided were invaluable. I am grateful to have had a life coach as caring and real as Shirley. I am leaps and bounds better off than before I sought her assistance and I am confident that with the tools she has provided me I will continue to grow on a personal and professional level.
