FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates depend greatly on the complexity of the project. Basically my video work all includes a higher fee for the first hour or what I call the set-up fee. Editing is billed by the hour also.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My credits include business promos for the web; video portraits of an individual's talents; and band promos, which i especially enjoy. My video promos consist of a base interview and/or narrative, supportive b-roll and stills (often products). I find editing the most creative aspect of the process. It allows me to bring one of my strongest strengths a project "story telling."
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had the pleasure working with the management team at Laser Ammo in creating product related videos/stills for their website. They make non lethal firearms laser training devices for civilian, military and law enforcement. I had the pleasure of working with them in creating concept, script, narratives, video, product stills, b-roll, choosing talent and editing. They fully believe in their fine products, as do I, and they dedicated much time and energy to the process. We created, product instructions, product description, interviews and more.
