Barbara is awesome!! She is very knowledgeable and thorough! I love her technique and her cute way/words she uses to get young children to use proper form. My granddaughter loves swimming with her and asks every day if she can have another swim lesson!!!

Barbara has been absolutely great with my 2 girls, ages 3 and 5. My older daughter started the summer still wearing a puddle jumper and now can swim independently all around our pool. Barbara teaches important safety skills as well as swimming technique. Both of my daughters have loved working with her, and look forward to her coming over each week! I highly recommend Barbara’s swimming lessons for anyone looking for private at home swimming lessons

Barbara is an awesome swim instructor! She has an excellent background as elementary teacher and swim instructor. My 3 grandchildren ages 5 7 and 8 made a lot of progress even in one lesson. We have so far taken three lessons. She had many fun games and techniques and kept them swimming and interested the whole hour. I highly recommend Barbara.

Barbara was great. My kids really enjoyed lessons with her. She connected with them well. Pool was always super warm too!

Barbara is absolutely the best - seriously if you are looking to hire a swim instructor, look no further. Our two kids (4 and 6) absolutely love her... neither swam when we started and both are now fully comfortable in the water. Highly recommend her for adults or kids of any age and experience.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Besides being a certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, I am also a certified Physical Education teacher k-12, ENL teacher k-12, Elementary N-6 grade teacher and have my extensions in Special Education. In addition, I am a proud member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity Task Force. I am a lifelong learner and take pride in always learning new strategies to help my students achieve their goals and become confident.
