All the months of planning my son’s Bar Mitzvah, the venue, the food, the music, on and on it went and at the end of the day the one thing people kept saying was “I love your Rabbi”! Our situation was a little unique as we wanted an abbreviated ceremony and struggled to find a Rabbi that would accommodate this request. I assured my wife I would find someone but after making several calls I was beginning to doubt that I could fulfill such a promise that was until I called Rabbi Joe. After two minutes on the phone and hearing his calm demeanor I knew I had struck gold. We quickly agreed on the specifics but I told him he would have to speak with my wife so we got off the phone and I asked my wife to call him, fifteen minutes later she called me back and said “He is perfect”! Rabbi Joe came to our house about a month before the event and met with us and my son and he was very open to modifying the ceremony to fit our family. On the day of the event my in-laws were 30 minutes late and I asked the Rabbi if he could speed up the ceremony due to the late start. Not only was he able to do that, I really don’t think he left anything out. Rabbi Joe was sincere, engaging and amusing and really created a perfect ceremony for us. We can whole heartedly recommend Rabbi Joe for whatever event you may be planning and already intend to have him for my daughter’s event in a few years. Phil & Jodi S

Therapy with Alison worked for us. It took awhile. There were a few months when nothing seemed to be changing. My wife and I were having the same fights, stuck the same way. I wanted to quit, but my wife insisted and I'm glad she did. Things started to click. The same things Alison had been pointing out to us suddenly made sense at a different level. Maybe we just needed to hear it over and over, or maybe the sessions we were doing got us ready, but suddenly we were able to change. Alison had been assigning us homework, but we rarely did it. When we started doing the homework, our marriage got better faster. But Alison never judged us when we didn't do it. She was always patient. She also saw both sides and helped us look at things instead of blaming one person, as a "dance" we get stuck in.

There was an instant comfort I felt with Judy. I had never gone to therapy before and she put me at ease almost instantly. I started having sessions with her at a really difficult time in my professional career, and there were times when I thought I was doing everything I could, but she helped me realize there were more options and other avenues of achieving my goals that I hadn't even explored. Our sessions together really helped me through some very dark times in my life and when I couldn't afford therapy anymore after I lost my job and health insurance plan, she continued to send me text messages just to make sure I was doing ok. She is incredibly thoughtful and has given me valuable tools for handling anxiety and difficult work relationships.

I have been attending pulse therapy for 4 sessions, and have had very positive results for my plantar fasciitis. Nothing else has really helped, and the therapy is medication free, pain free, and really works. I totally recommend for any pain issues.

Husband and I were going through some work related stress coupled with the dynamics of a new insta-family. Lines became blurry, and we became totally fixated on the business, as well as other challenges occurring within the family unit. We knew we had to make some changes and super quick! I let was then that I discovered Amy and several visits later, we were back on track and remembering why we even married in the first place! We simply lost sight of the basics. She doesn't beat around the bush in letting you know! Will help you get the resolve you're searching for by setting you back on your path and merely guiding you along the way. Gave us the tools we needed to be "solid" and as a result, are able to love one another again. We're very grateful for her help, had it not been for her, this review might have had an alternate ending!

About

An indigenous sound healer, Rev. Denise Hylton has completed training in Acutonics Sound Healing and the Kita Sound Healing systems, which utilize indigenous sound-healing tools to assist individuals with personal transformation. Vibrational sound therapy is a powerful, deeply transformational, and non-invasive healing treatment that incorporates sound and vibration to re-harmonize and attune the human energy field to achieve optimal health, actualization, and wholeness. Using harmonically attuned Tibetan singing bowls, hand chimes, bells, and calibrated tuning forks, sound is applied to acupuncture, acupressure, and trigger points to access the body’s meridian and musculature skeletal system. Sound healing has profound results in treating chronic and debilitating conditions, as well as in helping to balance emotional and physical well-being. She is an intuitive practitioner of the Integrated Awareness Technique, a Reiki master, and certified in acutonics, hypnotherapy, past life regression, and LaStone Therapy. Her skills in integrative therapy, psycho-spiritual counseling, and personal development have afforded her the opportunity to serve diverse communities. My goal is to enable everyone to experience the benefits of sound healing. I have provided sound services and workshops at several health and wellness centers, including the American Cancer Society and YMCA. I specialize in working with individuals with cancer, emotional issues, chronic diseases, autism, and special populations.

About

Therapeutic massage has been used in many cultures around the world throughout the ages to relieve both stress and physical pain. Stress can inspire us to do our best, but when we overload our nervous system for too long, our ability to respond with grace and balance may be compromised. Treating yourself to a massage can be one of the most pleasurable ways to deal with the overload of modern life. “All of our surgery patients are offered the treatment…I call it “service with a smile…and it’s mandatory weekly prescription I give myself” says Mehmet C. OZ, M.D. director of the Cardiovascular Institute a New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia Medical center and a member of the board at LLuminari, a health education company. All sessions begin with a conversation so that you and your therapist can tailor your massage to suit your needs. Rejuvenate with a relaxation session or work on specific areas of your body such as neck and shoulders or low back. Either way you will feel renewed, relaxed and peaceful. Move2wellness is proud to say that all our therapist are licensed and clinically trained.
