Jason fixed our plumbing and electrical issues. He was timely, pleasant and extremely efficient. He is neat and does all he can to get the job done as well as be flexible with time. I highly recommend him and will definitely be using him again for other things we need done very soon! Thanks Jason!
I had my TV mounted on the wall, a pin board hung on my wall and a light fixture installed on my ceiling. Jerome was great! My TV mount was a pain because I was missing the original hardware for it, and the people who moved my stuff to NY ripped the base off of my TV causing the screws to strip. Jerome was able to work around all that and get it done anyway. He didn't get frustrated or worry there would be extra steps involved. I also didn't know my light fixture would have an electrical wiring step and he still did it no problem even though it was a pain to install. He never tried to increase the payment or worry about time or anything like that and he was available to come at my convenience. Very professional and very handy! I will definitely contact Jerome for future projects and will recommend him to anyone I know who needs help with any projects like these. Thanks!
James is very talented and a pleasure to deal with. He did a very good job power washing my house and I am anxiously looking forward to his electrical work.
We hired Walter to install several electrical outlets in several rooms, 2 of which were in hard to reach locations. He did excellent work. The job took a little longer than we anticipated, but I believe that was related to difficulty Walter was having reaching the spots where we wanted the outlets. You should also know Walter is very concerned about leaving your home in the same level of cleanliness that he received it...unusual for trades. I liked him and would strongly recommend him
He did an excellent job. He went above and beyond. He will be the first phone call I make when I have my next electrical project.
Konstantine is absolutely great to have around. As a retired woman just recently moved to Manhattan whose husband is still finishing out a work contract elsewhere, I must gather impeccable resources about me. Knowledgable, smart, technically proficient, and fairly priced: I am glad to have met an all-around, dependable man who is easy to be with. Konstantine, if it weren't for an age difference -- and a loving husband! -- I'd marry you: so, instead, I'll have to adopt you. Wait til my hubby hears he's going to be a brand new Daddy again! And ladies, it's reassuring to have a nice ex-cop around, and I think you know what I mean. And it's even nicer that he knows how to get the myriad things taken care of in assembling, fixing items, mounting TVs, electrical questions, kitchen repairs, etc., etc...and who knows his way around a hardware store. Konstantine is a reliable, pleasant, capable man to add to your arsenal.
I had a several problems with my outdoor lighting and landscaping lights I hired two different electricians before hiring J.A electrical services one just couldn't find the problem and the other was asking way too much to trouble shoot . Then J.A stepped in and easily found the problem and made all repairs for a reasonable price.
Dexter is a nice guy, works hard, provides good value, and sticks with his pricing and dedications. In my situation, I needed two new outlets, both of which appeared to be close to existing power sources. It turns out one actually was, and Dexter efficiently installed a GHCI outlet there for safety and per code, because it's in the bathroom by water. The other one turned out to be near a switch that just controlling a light but had no power. After cutting several squares out of my drywall to explore where to get a line through the wall from my kitchen out to the desired location in living room, we discovered the wall was actually entirely made of very thick brick and was structural for the building. I was already stressed at the cut outs, because that meant added sheet rock patching and paint costs, and now it looked like no outlet was possible. I wanted to drill through the structural wall but Dexter advised it's not smart to do so without permits, as this then moved past normal electrical work in an apartment. He advised snaking the line down the wall and cut out a channel through the sheet rock, around the corner, and then where the box would go, cut out the sheet rock and chisel the brick beyond it to make enough room. I was thinking oh snit, this may turn into more wall damage and mess and who knows if I wind up with an outlet at the end. But Dexter is a good communicator of the various considerations and I figured cool, let's just go for it. He proceeded to spend a solid chunk of time hand carving the channel and snaking the metal wire cable from the existing box to the new living room one around the corner. It all came together as a workable solution. Meanwhile, I now have a mess of open holes and this channel to cover with sheet rock, plaster and then paint over it. But we talked about each step and Dexter made sure to say he doesn't do sheet rock, checking if my other contractor who was pulling my old radiator could handle it. Dexter meanwhile was cool to stick with our original price, knowing I now had to spend more to complete the project, and I think also understanding that he came late each day we did this project (one time was a directions NYC snafu). Once he arrived though, he was alway on top of the job, working hard, and he even swapped out a broken outlet part that we didn't originally include in the estimate. Also, for various reasons connected to the directions snafu, we wound up at Home Depot together and he was patient and accommodating, as it was a supply run more for another project at my place than the few electrical parts we had to purchase for his part. I recommend him if you're looking for someone to help you with your electrical projects.
Boyan was to take down a chandelier in my bedroom. He did this quickly and was very professional. I would recommend him for any type of electrical work
James is truly a diamond in the rough. A man of integrity. He is a skilled professional who is reliable, reasonable, courteous and efficient. He installed an electrical outlet where there was none, moved a ceiling fixture from one location to another, replaced another ceiling fixture and installed a motion sensor above the patio door - all in less than one day! James will forever be my first call on any electrical projects to come. Thank you James!
I was coordinating moving our office into a bigger space. We needed the electrical wiring and terminations done as well as 2 large TVs mounted and installed. Paul was able to come the same day I requested the job and was finished by the weekend. It was a big job and he got it done quickly and seamlessly. Very professional and responsive.
Juan was extremely reliable. Came exactly when he said he would and very amenable to shifts in the schedule. He did paint work and patching, fixed an electrical outlet, replaced the faucets in the bathroom, hung up with extra support a bunch of weight bearing hooks and racks, put up a commercial sign on the front door and fixed a sticking to the front door. He was affordable, friendly, communicative. Very much recommend.
Needed a quick install of a central air thermometer and this was done quickly and professionally. First showed me how the wiring was done, then installed and checked to make sure that it was working properly. Good experience, reasonable pricing, and professional installation. Would hire again for any electrical work.
Always a well done professional job....did plumbing & electrical work & installed a beautiful wood fence. Also power washed the deck. Almost forgot, installed new doors throughout the house. More to do. Very nice person to work with...I highly recommend Jeff.
Expert electrical work! From re-wiring new appliances, replacing old lighting with new and trouble shooting several problems, I was confident the work was very professionally done. Additionally, for this expert service, I found the cost very reasonable! I would highly recommend Stella Electric!
I had Mr. Roman fix quite a few problematic areas in my home. He arrived at the appointed time as discussed and was very professional. I needed some roofing repairs and plumbing work done and decided to give Thumbtact a try. I must say that he did a wonderful job with both and his work quality is impeccable. I highly recommend Mr. Roman for quality work. He's my new go to for all my home issues. Thank you Mr. Roman. 5 stars all the way!
Rick arrived on time and completed a bathroom heater installation including some light electrical work. He brought all his tools and got right to work and was very professional and competent. I'd hire him again in a second.
I recently hired Nick to finish several electrical projects inside and outside of my home. I was very impressed with how quickly he responded and how he prioritized getting the job done. He even fixed a lighting issue without charge that another professional had said was not fixable. Nick came back a second day to finish another project and again was punctual, fast and very neat. He responds quickly to text messages and is very polite and professional. I highly recommend his work!
David came by an installed an electrical outlet, a dimmer switch and replaced a pendant lighting fixture and he was great. Not only was he very friendly and punctual he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He took his time ensuring that each project was perfectly done and he made sure to clean up as he went. He had all his own tools and equipment and was ready to go at the agreed upon time. I would definitely recommend David for any electrical projects you have.
Brandon was very impressive who works quickly and efficiently to get the job done right the first time. He’s very responsive and professional. I would use him again for electrical work and/or ceiling fan installation.
Ndue from Kolecki Construction met me at an apartment that I wanted to buy to look at the electric, which needed to be upgraded. I didn’t end up buying the apartment or hire Ndue, but I was impressed by his responsiveness and knowledge. He met me at the building and was right on time. Buying real estate in New York is an imposing process, especially when you need to hire a contractor and don’t know where to begin. Ndue invited me to buildings where his team was working and where walls were open so that I see what they do. I still don’t have an apartment, but I’ll call him if that day comes.
