Both Zach and Andrew were born and raised in New York and attended the Zaki Gordon Cinematic Arts program at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
After graduating with a bachelor's degree in cinematic arts, they started a wedding film company that is currently based in Lynchburg, Virginia, but the pair will travel anywhere in the world to help to make your special day last forever.
They use an artistic eye and creative inspiration to create unique and captivating videos that will touch every viewer. Although wedding videos are their specialty, they are available to film any event.

I can't say enough great things about Something Blue Films. When we were planning our wedding, we had a certain style video in mind that we wanted. That's how we came across Something Blue. I had a friend that said, "But Em, wait, you have to actually like the people. They are going to spend so much time with you on one of your most special days. You have to enjoy their company." Well, man did we get lucky.
I met Zach a few months before the wedding. We actually met for food, good conversation, and toured our ceremony venue. I felt upon meeting like we had been friends for years.
Fast forward to the day of our wedding. Normal stuff went wrong: I forgot my jeweled belt and special perfume at the hotel. Zach beat out my bridesmaids in offering to go back and get my things. It was about 95 degrees and humid the day of our wedding, and no one brought water bottles for outdoor pictures. Zach ran out in between shoots and bought water for us, and Advil for my girlfriend who had a headache.
All of this in addition to the amazing product they provided. We chose the package with the most videos, and every. single. one. is jaw dropping. The angles, the editing, the creativity. I kept telling them, "I just want the day captured as it really is- no fluff." Well, they did what I asked, and it was more beautiful and stunning seeing the day from an outside perspective than I could have ever imagined. These guys are geniuses. It's not just that they're good at what they do, they really care. And how many people can you really say that about in this day and age?

Have yet to see the finished videos, but we could not be happier with the service provided by Zach and Andrew for our daughter's wedding. They arrived on time and stayed the whole night. They are both wonderful and personable. Anything we asked, they did. We loved working with them and are really eager to see the memories that they were able to capture of our day. We received 5 Thumbtack bids and are absolutely confident we chose the right videographers to memorialize the day!
