I have nothing but positive things to say about Nick and my experience with him as a coach. He takes the time to establish a personal experience with each and every one of his clients that goes beyond the gym. His extensive knowledge and drive pushes you reach your highest potential, no matter what level you are at or goals you are trying to achieve.

During our sessions, Nick has provided fitness training that strengthened my body as well as my mind. There were always new skills being developed while lifting weights, which included improving body form to ultimately creating various methods for overcoming bad habits. For instance, I never knew how to run until I started training with Nick; I would “jog” for twenty seconds and be completely out of breath. After one year of training with Nick, I have since completed a total of three 5k’s and even won a race to the top is Stone Mountain! Overall, the prize takeaway is the lifestyle change that occurs naturally. The reality is knowledge is key in everything we do, including exercise. Having a trainer that takes the time to properly condition you is truly a rare find. Nick taught me how to breathe; how to run; squat; lift; stretch; eat; drink; press and keep pressing my way through to the next level setting each goal higher than the last. I found myself becoming stronger physically, emotionally and mentally. Readily willing and able to take on the next challenge. If you’re looking for a great personal trainer that will motivate you and keep you motivated for a lifetime, Nick is definitely the one to call.

I worked out with Nick for over a year twice a week. We started with an overall assessment of my abilities and what my goals were. Nick completely personalized a program for me and each week we added more weight and exercises as I became more agile and stronger. I can truly say that I am in such a better place today . Nick also totally understood my workout style. I have started many workout regimens but have not followed through. The gym was never my happy place but nick made me look forward to our sessions. Monday and Wednesday mornings with nick became my routine and I truly looked forward to it I truly recommend nick as a coach

Where do I start? I've been trained by Nick for the last 2.5 years. After many years of "working out" with no real direction other than just wanting to get a good work out in, Nick helped me develop focus on specific training methods and have goals in mind. Nick is very knowledgeable, personable and professional and I recommend him to any one looking to take their fitness to the next level! Unfortunately I won't have him face to face to train with anymore but won't stop me from working with him online, that's how much I'm willing to remain under his tutelage!

Working with Nick Shoonmaker is one of the great experiences I ever had not only his knowledge, his work ethic but someone who understands your needs and always willing to help to rich your goals, I can't say enough about him, definitely someone I highly recommend give yourself a chance to work with him and you will never regret.
