I am a relatively new patient of Joyce's but am extremely impressed by her. I find her to be empathic and attuned. She listens well and asks meaningful questions. She also stays with you for the entire appointment versus other acupuncture practices where the clinician sees several patients at once and pops in and out of the room in a hurry. Joyce never appears rushed and the service feels tailored to the individual. I highly recommend her.

Joyce is a caring woman who listens and communicates well. Her facility is a calming environment. Unfortunately, I have been to three sessions and have not felt her treatments have worked for me.

About this pro

Dr. Joyce Leung Lilly specializes in men and women’s health, mental health and addictions. She treats a wide range of concerns – from back pain to emotional concerns, such as anxiety and depression. Joyce is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of New York and is board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She received her Doctoral degree in Acupuncture at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and currently has a private practice in New York City. While she welcomes all patients to her practice, she is particularly interested in treating individuals struggling with chronic physical and emotional disabilities, and she has a keen interest in helping those along on their spiritual path. It is amazing to witness the transformation of the patients from the moment they walk into the office and the moment they leave. Their demeanor and carriage of posture is much more relaxed, it's lighter, and visibly less knotted. It's my deepest reward to see this transformation in others.

    Q & A

    • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I love continuing education seminars. These seminars give me a chance to fill the blanks on what formal education has omitted. I have a special interest in the Mind-Body-Spirit connection. The body has an innate intelligence that has the ability to heal itself once we get out of its way.
    • What types of customers have you worked with?
Stress relief, chronic headaches, muscle pains, back pains, neck pain, shoulder pain, painful periods, depression, anxieties, substance addictions, those looking to stop smoking, etc.
    • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you eat a small meal at least one hour before your appointment. Wear loose comfortable clothing that you can fold up beyond your knees & elbows.
Coverage Area for Joyce Acupuncture NYC, PC is about 30+ miles of New York, NY.
