Calligraphy
I came to Morgan with only a quote from a book that my Mom in passing stated she'd love to have in calligraphy and framed. Morgan took it from there, providing me options of different styles of calligraphy and even sent me frame ideas. She was open to my changing thoughts and very patient. When I picked up the finished product, I was speechless! It started as a quote but what it became was a true piece of art with an incredible story. She caught the essence of the language of the book, the flow of the writing and really became part of bringing this gift to life. My Mom beamed when she opened it. She absolutely loved it! I highly recommend Morgan, she will handle your ideas with great care. I look forward to another opportunity to work with her.

Calligraphy
I had a wonderful experience working with Morgan! My fiancé and I were in a tight bind having to get all our envelopes out within a short time span due to Covid-19 and she stepped right in and got them all done in such a short turn around! Not only that but her work was EXCELLENT and the calligraphy on the envelopes, was exactly how we envisioned them. We are so thankful we found her! I would 100% refer her to anyone looking for help with their wedding in any areas. She is definitely an expert at this. We will certainly keep her in mind again for the future. Thanks so much Morgan! We are so happy with them all :)

Wedding and Event Invitations
We loved working with Morgan! Her calligraphy was excellent and she went the extra mile with helping us design and correct a mistake I made on the original invitations! Her design was beautiful and also perfectly complimented my design for the invitations. She really gave us that personal touch and we even invited her to watch our virtual wedding! Top notch!

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have a $50 minimum for all projects. Basic Calligraphy (place cards, inserts, just names) start off at $1.75 per item. Envelopes w/o return address start off at $2.50 per envelope. Envelopes w/return address start off at $4.50 per envelope. Other projects will be done on a case by case basis depending on how many estimated hours it will take. I usually charge $50 per hour, increments of .25 (example, if a job takes me 1.25 hours to make, it will cost $62.50). I always go off of estimated price, unless supplies are not as described when delivered. Please feel free to tell me your budget and we can always figure out a way to make it work! Any special inks, me providing paper or other supplies, etc. will be an additional costs and not included in the prices above. All shipping costs will not included in the prices above.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to get to know you and your style or the event's style. This can be very important so that I can mirror whatever vision you have for your event! We start off knowing the basics. What do you want written? Style? Color? Type of paper? Size? Then we dig a little deeper with paper options and getting you a tailored quote and timeline for your special project. After, I send over a few samples. We would only move forward with the whole process once you've given me the green-light!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have taken classes from the top calligraphers in New York city. I work every day to get better and better.
