Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I'm a Personality Type expert in addition to a teacher/tutor, so I'm uniquely attuned to the different thinking, testtaking, and interpersonal styles of each student. I have experience (and excellent reviews) teaching people both one-on-one and in small classes (2-6 people), mid-size and large classes (up to as many as 35 students in a room). I love the art and science of managing a fun but productive one-on-one or classroom-wide learning experience. I thrive at explaining things simply (step - by step - by step - by step...), and doing so vividly. Patience comes easily to me, too. I plan our work in depth, in advance: from short-term to mid-term and long-term goals, to going through your mock exams problem by problem to find the very specific errors you might be making, to sending you follow-up emails after each lesson so that you can be sure of exactly what we're accomplishing, when, and where that leaves us on track to our over-arching objective. I also hone in on the "lowest hanging fruits" of each test - the easiest areas to boost your score - be they content knowledge like grammar or plane geometry, or specific strategies like how to approach a Reading passage - and I really focus on those parts, so your score can jump. like to put these tests in a broader perspective: of learning how to learn, how to identify and admit to what you don't know, how to find specific ways of practicing those tangible skills, how to take a big scary problem and break it down into each of its tiniest component parts (doing each one, THEN worrying about what the next step will be), and how to make work a constant but not-oversized part of your life, so that achievement and pride and confidence become constants in your life. Connecting with students; the thrill of progress; learning about learning; learning about teaching.

I met Jim long time ago when I was a freshman in University , at that time I am so frustrated about my University life and also I am not very interested in my major, Jim is a teacher as good friend and also a good friend as teacher. He encouraged me a lot at that time. Later on when I decided to applied a graduate school to continue my student life in the major which I don't like but easy to get a job, Jim talked to me a lot, he guided me to have a positive attitude and let me had more motivation to complete the degree. Rite now I am a hardware engineer in Silicon Valley, I am satisfied with my life here at this moment. What I want to say, all in all, is that, Jim lets me know that it is not everyone can be lucky to do what they are interested and also do it really well, (how we wish we are lucky), once you have to do something that you may not interested, try to get used to it and find the your interests in those things, and also, don't imply yourself "I don't like it, I hate it", that makes you suffered yourself. I know Jim also experienced a lot those years and I think Jim will tutor you the best in his way. I would like to click"like" on his buttom :)

Mr. Treadway was my SAT tutor during the summer of 2014. He has a top notch work ethic and understands what it means to be a teacher in regard to the fact that he actually teaches (I know shocker). He has a way of making learning interesting even on a hot friday evening in summer when you would rather be reading a compelling sherlock novel or mindlessly browsing the internet. He is the type of teacher that sets new trends and offers congratulatory apple wedges. Going into his class, I presumed that there was nothing I would learn from him but due to his help I have started to notice flaws in my writings and in those of others that I never realized before. I am truly grateful to him for not only teaching my new tricks of how to approach the SAT logically and reasonably but also for teaching me how to psychologically prepare myself for something as significant as the SAT. He is definitely an admirable instructor who deserves your full respect and attention. If you are keen on bettering yourself as a student then you should definitely contact Mr. Treadway.

Jim is a very special tutor. He breaks down your student's strengths and weaknesses with almost scientific accuracy, and will go after weaknesses methodically, trying many approaches if the first does not work. He is especially strong for kids who are motivated, but have learning difficulties. I recommend Jim strongly, not only as the person you run to for the last 4 months before your exam, but especially as your long term tutor who can help you not only face up to your exam, but the bigger picture of college and university in general. Moreover, Jim is on the cutting edge of every exam given. He was the first to tell us about the essay change for the ACT (for this upcoming exam Oct 24, 2015), and he is so dedicated, that he will even take the exam (at a different location), with your student, to make certain his teaching is keeping up with the trends. I highly recommend Jim, and feel that to find someone as solid is very hard to find. Jim is a type-A personality pro in a field of college kids who are trying to make a buck off of you and your wallet.

Jim is an excellent educator. He took the time to not only teach but to connect with my kids. He used many approaches and techniques to find what worked best with each student individually. His emails to the students were not only informational but motivational. This year we had the best scores we have ever had with this program and it was because of him.

Out of all the SAT tutors that I had over a 2-year period (all from various Ivy League schools), Jim was undoubtedly the best at explaining difficult concepts in the simplest terms. He was also the most patient and encouraging. Jim consistently went above and beyond to ensure that my questions get resolved. I am extremely grateful and fortunate to have had Jim as my tutor. I would highly recommend Jim!
