Introduction: I am a professional cooking instructor, private chef and cookbook writer ("A Fistful of Lentils: Syrian-Jewish Recipes From Grandma Fritzie's Kitchen") who specializes in Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and Sephardic cooking and culture. All of my recipes are personally developed and written, including Syrian, Moroccan, Persian, Turkish, Greek, Iraqi, Egyptian, and Georgian.
Private cooking classes (lasting 2 1/2 to 3 hours) are done in your own home, and menus are customized to your preferences. Classes can be for individuals, couples (great wedding gift!), and small groups and are a great way to socialize as well as learn. I am also available to come to your home and cook for you and a small group of people (up to 25) for holiday dinners or other special events.
In addition, I am available for Middle Eastern food demos and talks in private homes, schools or community centers.
