Drumset & Percussion Lessons with Dalton

Introduction: Hello! After studying drumset performance at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, I have recently relocated to Phoenix, Arizona to begin teaching and performing. I first began studying percussion and drumset over eight years ago; since then, I have performed in major venues and festivals including the Monterey Jazz Festival (California), Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Umbria Jazz Festival (Italy), Frederick P. Rose Hall (New York City), and Carnegie Hall (New York City). Additionally, I have performed with notable artists such as Brice Winston, Charles McPherson, Ray Drummond, and Jason Carder. I have had extensive experience performing and teaching many styles of music including jazz, rock, hip hop, and latin. However, I am just as enthusiastic about teaching beginners the basic fundamentals of percussion and the drumset. My home studio, located just off of 46th St. and Chandler Blvd. in Ahwatukee, is fully equipped with two drumsets and other teaching materials. But I will commute to students' homes/studios for lessons, if requested. I look forward to meeting and working with you!
