FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In most cases, fees are based on a contingency (you pay only if we win your case and pay either a percentage of the amount recovered -- usually one-third -- or the amount of fees awarded by the court or agreed to by the defendant. Your attorneys' fees are often paid wholly or in part by the person you sue.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We conduct a detailed interview of all prospective clients to determine all labor and employment laws that may have been violated. It is important to provide us with as much documentation of your claims as possible, as well as information on witnesses supporting your claims.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We handle primarily claims by employees against employers for wage theft (minimum wage and overtime claims), employment discrimination (including race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, disability), and sexual harassment.
