FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My photoshoots are priced on an hourly rate. I generally like to keep my shoots simple and basic with a handheld Sony or Leica with very little set up and fuss. I am a creative shooter that is inspired by personalities and settings. Therefore, I am able to price my photoshoots at very reasonable rates for my clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get on a call for an initial fact finding session where I get basic needs defined, and a true understanding of the job, including date and location. I then send a quote, and once it's approved and I receive the initial fee to start the job (*20% Down Payment to begin work. Remaining 80% due upon completion of job), I then get back on the phone, and ask more specifics of the desired goal of the main shots. We settle on wardrobe, a few mandatory shots, and then explain I'm a creative shooter and will shoot additional shots as I become inspired once I start snapping.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied photography in college at The School of Visual Arts. Graduated with a major in advertising art and a minor in photography. For the last 2 decades of my life, I created advertising campaigns for blue chip clients, and flew all over the world on location to shoot the sold campaigns in both photography and television. I hired A list talent and was the visionary behind all that was captured and seen nationally.
