FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My most popular portrait session is an hour-long session for $350. For weddings, the most popular package is $3,300 for 8 hours of coverage with an online gallery of all the final edits. I have a detailed wedding pricing guide though, so feel free to contact me to browse it!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new clients, it is so important that I establish a relationship with you before we shoot together. I think it makes the whole process much more fun and relaxed, and makes for even more genuine photographs. For weddings or larger events, I like to meet the clients for coffee first and discuss exactly what you're looking for in terms of final images. It helps break the ice, and then we can make sure you're getting exactly what you want! After the consultation, when you're ready to commit here are the next steps: 1. I send over my photo release contract that will lay out all the details of the day. All you have to do is review those details and sign the form! 2. Final step to booking is submitting a non-refundable deposit of 25%. This deposit secures your date, and acts as security, so that if you need to cancel at any time, I will only keep the 25% and you do not need to pay the rest. You have up until the day of your shoot to submit the remaining balance. The deposit can be paid electronically, whichever format you prefer (Venmo, Honeybook, etc.) Once we get that squared away, we're in business!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from New York University with a BFA in photography, and have assisted fashion and portrait photographers for a few years during college as well.
