In a fast paces and constantly evolving industry like Fashion, there is a preoccupation with youth and newness. Keep in mind that just because something, or someone is new, doesn't mean they're good or relevant. In my opinion, there is no substitute for knowledge and experience. Search for people who are able to combine experience and intuition, with an understanding of the cultural zeitgeist. It if far more important to be relevant than new.
