The continuing education that I've taken has been in fabrication; which has help in understanding what is needed to create completely custom site/client specific installations.

We are often asked "How much is this going to cost?". This is impractical to just throw out a number with out knowing exactly what the clients needs are. We calculate the cost of project as follows: cost of flowers & hard goods (vases) + labor (time to create & install) + delivery (what kind of trucks will be needed) = total cost

I was raised in the industry.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We commonly provide flowers for intimate events hosted in a clients home. This means we match the flowers to the clients likes and decor. Often utilizing there own vases to accent their existing home decor.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they have taken the time to find out what your exact needs & expectations are.
