Introduction: I offer private instruction on saxophone, clarinet and flute on topics spanning technical development, ear training, improvisation, music theory, composition, and arranging. I have performed across a wide variety of genres in my professional career on the saxophone family and woodwinds and thus bring a great breadth of musical experience to the instructional table. I very much emphasize working on music that personally speaks to you yet is challenging enough to foster development, as this approach yields much better results than beginning with the 'standard' instrumental literature.
