- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Different projects require different amounts of labor, tools, knowledge and experience, so they have different rates. I will always be 100% transparent about my rates up front so you can decide if I am right for you. Here are general estimates for services I regularly provide: Furniture Assembly/Installation - $50/hr Interior Painting - $45/hr (one color, edging and furniture protection included) Small Appliance Repair - $65/hr Blinds/Curtain Install - $40/hr Picture Hanging - $40/hr
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Send me a message letting me know what you need and when you need it. I'll tell you my hourly rate and an estimated number of hours to complete the job. If it's a more involved project, I like to have a quick check-in about what you're hoping to get done, what you'd ideally love to happen in your home, etc. After I'm done with the project, we can talk about next steps.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Growing up as part of a family of seven in a house built for a family of four, a lot of stuff got broken and needed to be fixed. I've been painting, edging, spackling, caulking, gluing, sanding and tinkering since I could hold a tool.
