I hired Rafael as a dog trainer, and not only was he super knowledgeable / professional, but he made himself available via text/email outside of the training sessions to answer any questions. He's a great communicator - giving easy to follow guidance to address challenging dog behavioral issues.

Rafael is very knowledgeable and worked with us one on one to train our dogs. Provided us with resources as well and made himself available for questions and future sessions. Our dogs were finally listening and slowing down during walks.

Rafael answered all of my questions, one by one, thoroughly and in a way that my entire family and I could understand. He validated the worries that we had while also advocating for our dog, reassuring us that our dog is not “bad” but instead simply acting out of natural instinct. He was very humble and patient with us, despite our many questions. In just one session with Rafael, our shiba inu who was previously very hard to walk due to pulling on the lease, has been very calm during walks. Our relationship with her has also improved because he made us realize that our dog is not misbehaved but just needs some kind redirection. We went into the session with a lot of concern and worry for our dog (perhaps she is misbehaved and we can’t control that), but we came out of the session with relief and so much love for our Shiba🥹. He also sent us an extremely detailed recap of what we talked about after the session over email. This included example videos from the internet to spot clues/signs that our dog may be uncomfortable and likely to fight (something we were very concerned about and the reason that we hired Rafael). I cannot emphasize how happy I am with Rafael’s service. It was easily one of the best 120 dollars I have spent. Thank you!!😊

This professional is awesome!!! He was very professional, polite, punctual, knowledgeable and helpful. After instructing, He demonstrated and then had me demonstrate what i learned about how to train my puppy! So many pointers and great advice!! At $120 per session, my pricing is highly competitive and I offer many options for different budgets. We can also space out sessions as far apart as you need.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Send me a message letting me know what you're looking for. We'll talk about your dog a bit, set up an appointment and afterwards I will follow up with resources to help you carry on with the training on your own.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started dog training in 2017 and, although I am self taught, I realized I had a talent for it after the first time one of my dogs was able to be certified as a service dog.
